Top 11 Saddest Moments	Good choices.	I never saw that scene from Muppets Take Manhattan but when I did I got choked up. To be fully honest, I like Land Before Time more than American Tail. Because of that Going Away Party from Snoopy Come Home, I haven't been able to watch that movie for a long time because it was too depressing. The Artex death scene makes my little sister cry even to this day. The inclusion of My Girl was an excellent choice as well, because I love the scene when Dan Aykroyd tells her that he's dead you could here his voice crack a little bit like he was really emotional. Great Acting on Aykroyd's part. You were also very wise to put Star Trek II in there as well. I myself am not a Star Trek fan, But I'm sure fans must have cried like Niagara Falls at the end of that movie. Excellent choice to put all the Disney movies into one. The Disney movie that really made me cry was the scene in Alice in Wonderland. The song she sings wasn't the reason. When she started crying, it made me sad but when the little creatures started crying I did. That one shot from the Pound scene in Lady and the Tramp is so painful to watch and listen to that I still can't watch it. As for the the killing of Bambi's mom, the reason for that transition was to show the passage of time. I know it's not a wise transition. You should know that there was a scene in The Wizard of Oz which was a reprise of Over the Rainbow when Dorothy is locked in the Witches castle. No footage of the scene survives but the on set recording still exists. If you hear it, Judy Garland is really, really sad in that scene and according to production reports, members on the crew started crying along with her. So because the scene was too emotional for audiences (mainly children) they decided to cut that scene out. So I think if Disney held on to the emotion of the death of the mother in Bambi, I guess it would be too much for audiences of that time. Thought you might like to know. Keep it coming!
