Dark Knight	N/A	watching Dark Knight made me feel like the Mutant Enemy at the end of Buffy season 2. "i need a hug" it's the best interpretation of Batman or any superhero ever. the bad taste left in our mouth from the Clooney atrocity (and Tommy Lee Jones' appalling Two-Face) has been completely wiped away. btw, new Bond preview. anybody else feel that these two franchises are following the same path? origin story, much darker and grimmer world, loads of angst... BEST bum review yet.
Video Game Review	N/A	quite good. point definitely goes to you this round. if avgn wants to catch up, try sending him a REAL nostalgic stinker...like Highlander 2. but that's just too cruel.
AFWhy's Top 10 Greatest Animated Films	N/A	pretty good list. two more money-making gems: Cats Don't Dance and Treasure Planet. those were great and successful and classic, right? (now serious) Disney's first sequel, Rescuers Down Under, was the only mostly good one. the rest were just like, "how can we squeeze more money out of established characters and situations?" i just hope they never do an Alice In Wonderland sequel.
Star Wars: Episode II	N/A	just drone on about sand for a while. (although i think Natalie was worse) great battle scene, we saw Yoda kick ass, i felt vindicated for defending ep. 1's hyper-convoluted plot. but the two leads were on Valium the entire time.
Star Wars: Episode VI	N/A	needed more Leia bondage. otherwise good.
TMNT (Original)	N/A	the greatest anticlimax in cinematic history. we got hosed.
Captain Planet	N/A	probably the most unsettling thing about this show is the number of legitimate actors that did the voices. and not just voice actors for whom this is pretty much an ordinary gig like Mark Hamill or the incomparable Frank Welker (aka Megatron). no, i mean like Emmy winner Ed Asner, Oscar winners Whoopi Goldberg, Elizabeth Taylor and James Coburn, Helen Hunt (Emmy AND Oscar), David Warner...okay, forget David Warner. but Malcom McDowell? seriously? can you imagine if they'd made used his Alex Delarge character in this PoS? what was Dean Stockwell doing here? and Neil. Neil Patrick Harris was an episode of CAPTAIN PLANET for God's sakes! i suppose it shouldn't be a surprise; give Hollywood stars a chance to spew out Poptart environmentalism while safely remaining under the umbrella of Ted Turner capitalism and they will practically tear down your door. meanwhile, my soul dies a little bit more.
Animenia - Weirdness: Hair	N/A	what is this gravity of which you speak? Japan has already abolished it in regards to hair, and, following the lead of Gainax, is working on abolishing it on the...um...upper torsos of human females.
