I think I actually screamed when Chester A. Bum came on.
But really, I totally didn't see that coming and I was already laughing pretty hard over your high pitched squealing but once our favorite bum came on, that laughter turned to howls.
Awesome twist on the usual Nostalgia Critic video along with the closing line ("I'm the Nostalgia Critic, I remember it so you don't have CHAAAAANGE!! Y'got any chaaaaange?!").
Man, this is just the most bizarrely hilarious video. The funny thing is if Bjork really did have her own talk show, I would totally watch it. Especially if it were something like this.
But yeah, I'd love to see a second episode of "The Bjork Show". Awesome stuff.
BUTTERFLIES!! "Mr. Snorfman". Hee.
This was strangely entertaining (I have no words for that last clip ).
I'm not sure I even wanna know what was going on in #4 but that blow to the crotch on #2? God, I'm a chick and even I cowered in pain.
But yeah, I'd be curious to see what other "epic fails" you'd showcase so count me in on seeing another video from you in the future.
Surreal! Props on the Sarah Brightman impression!
Like everyone has already stated, such a ridiculous amount to take in in just 50 seconds! Keep up the awesome work!
This is such a fabulous concept. I was never really into chat rooms but this movie is enough justification to keep me away from them. I also gotta say that the acting is great and the whole conversation with the girl and the older guy? Very creepy.
"He looks like Vanilla Ice's bitch!!"
I think I need to find some tissues because I have tears running down my eyes from laughing so hard over your own, um, hysteria.
Funny, I don't remember the oil episode but for some reason, the radio show episode always sticks in my head. Oh yeah, and the "buddy bands" episode (if that commercial ain't 80's vomit then I don't know what is).

Sorry, had to be done .
The Oreo, frankly, you deserve a cookie of your own for that gif!
Another giggle-tastic episode, especially that infamous makeout session. Is it just me or was anyone else getting Austin Powers flashbacks during that sequence ("We're both totally sexy bitches!").
Oh God, I laughed way too hard over the "BOOBIES!!11!!" rampage and I gotta admit, it totally caught me off guard.
Another gigglelicious episode. Is anyone out there going to be brave enough to call that number at the end of the video?
First of all, fabulous job to all you ladies and your reviews. Way to represent and I think each of you posess the qualities to wear the Nostalgia Chick's metaphorical tiara in your own unique ways.
There really was quite a bit to take in with each review that I had to rewatch them all in order to really make a decision...
Lindsay, you were one of my favorites on the first viewing. I had noticed that there were some very minor pauses when you spoke during certain parts, almost as if you might have stumbled over a word but it was hardly much of a distraction worth taking away from a really great skewing of Pocahontas. Though on a second viewing, that minor tic didn't jump out at me as much. The jokes are still funny and I can't ever get enough of puppies.
Krissy, I think I remember seeing your review on the forums here and when I saw that you were doing a review on Sailor Moon (a major childhood favorite of mine), I was a little worried that you weren't going to live up to my favorite seething parody of Sailor Moon, Megami33's Sailor Moon Abridged. Needless to say, you held your own in your review of Sailor Moon. In fact, after a second viewing, you kinda grew on me. With a little work your narration, I think I could see myself tuning into your work more often. I also must confess that I owned the soundtrack too.
Kaylyn, I'd only really seen the first half of The Last Unicorn but I think you were definitely able to pick up on some of the points that I gathered from my limited viewing of the movie (namely the harpy and the Red Bull). There were moments where I thought your voice tip-toed a little on the "one-tone" line but the inflections didn't seem to bother me as much on the second viewing. I still think some of your visual gags were very funny (the aforementioned Red Bull, the Sailor Moon-esque transformation, "The Price is Right" music etc.). The reference to April O'Neil's jumpsuit was a nice, unexpected little joke (a way to the Critic's good graces? I'm kidding!). Overall, a pretty solid review.
Lauren, you were another one that really stood out to me on the first viewing. I think it was the combination of an unusual subject matter for review and the laid-back, conversational feel to your video. While some of the transitions needed a little work, I still found your video to be just as enjoyable on the second viewing. I have some pretty distinct memories of those cupcake dolls, Cabage Patch Kids and possibly even the Barbie cakes. I'm probably gonna have Duck Tales-esque flashbacks due to the Yum Yums song though.
Drew, I'm not sure if it's The Last Unicorn fatigue or that your review was the last one posted but I occasionaly forget about this review. That's not to say that I think you did a terrible job (which you didn't) but it's more just having another The Last Unicorn review to compare to. But from my perspective, I think you have ease and confidence in your delivery and are really comfortable on camera. The ending may have felt a little abrupt but I still found some of your comments quite funny (ie. "Try harder!").
Until there's an official notice on voting, I gotta say that it's gonna be a helluva toss-up between Lindsay, Lauren...Krissy...and Kaylyn.
Best of luck to you girls!
Okay, so you've stumbled upon my blog. I wish I could offer you some sort of prize for making it here but all I've got are stacks of lint inside my pockets. Sorry, writer's life, y'know?
But wait!, you say. If you're typing this right now, then surely you can afford a laptop and therefore you're rich enough to run out and buy me a prize you filthy liar blah, blah, blah, whine, bitch, moan...
Brain breaking logistics aside, my blogs will likely center on a pot pourri of columns and rants on whichever subject matter will hit me (though I'm probably going to be going down the music route and then some). Maybe one day down the road, I might venture into making videos. We'll see.
