I TOTALLY agree with your top 3 there! "Whats up people!", "Tank!", and "Cruel Angels Thesis" are classics! Youtube is just full of parodies of them as well. Also, the funny thing is the opening for Evangelion is the only thing I like about that series, everything else about it confuses the hell out of me. As for the 2nd Death Note opening, honestily, I don't care for it either, but the crazy/twisted-ness of the song really does fit what is going on in that part of the series, expecially with Light and his twisted mind. I also agree about "Asterisk" being on that list, its fun upbeat, and has great visuals. But overal song wise, I like "Ichirin no Hana" (3rd opening) the best. I'm also kinda surprised that neither "Catch you Catch Me" from Cardcaptor Sakura or "Moonlight Densetsu" from Sailor Moon make the list. Those are classics as well. "exDream" from X is pretty damm cool too.
Anyways, you have great potential (love the reaction to Elfin Lied and comment on the first DN Op, I also happen to like "the WORLD" as well as the band that performs it, but I still find the comment funny). But like others have said, improve your clip editing, it could be alot better. Like in your intro you showed mostily clips from one of the InuYasha openings when you should have thrown in more of a varitey. Like the Haruhi Suzumiya opening and/or one of the ones from Fullmetal Alchemist, or something.... And work on the audio as well.
Other than those nitpicks, i'm looking forward to see what you do in the future.
I agree with you on how theres tons on trashy AMVs on Youtube, not only do idiots with no taste like them, but their own ceators think they made the best video ever. (I'm gulity of maning such AMVs, but at least I know they are garbage compared to some of my better ones) I also agree with the Linkin Park AMV overkill. While on the topic of AMVs, I have some great ones I recommend, alot of them are on my Youtube favorites list (although I will admit some are pretty bad). I suggest "The Race", "Knights of Fate", "Come on Sailor Moon", "Shattered Dreams", "Shine", "Roy the Impaler", "She's Just Oblivious", "Waka Laka For Osaka"...I would suggest more, but thats enough for now.
I have a camera, I know how to edit (better than most people too), I'm 18 now (will be 19 soon), and i'm a girl!
.....well, I may not be pretty as other girls, but at least I know my stuff (to a point, I am a 90's kid afteral). My only problem, if I win, is the 2 week thing, my camera sucks and its a real pain to transfer files from it, and the quality in the final results is kinda shot, so i'm less willing to make videos from it. Even if I don't win, I was planning on doing my own review series anyways but for anime, and I plan on doing *REAL* reviews for anime series, unlike that other guy on this site.
I'm still going to give this a shot though, and I know just the series I plan on doing too! Now I just need to write a script for it.....
Pretty short list you have there. Plus I hate to say it, but I agree with one of the users comments about OEL manga being nothing more than an imitation of Japanese manga. I tried reading some, but it just feels very dull to me, like something was missing. Perhaps it was the computer generated-like artwork that threw me off, or the placement of the art. *shrugs* I love reading comics, but the OEL manga i've read so far just fells fake to me.
Now as for Japanese manga. Death Note truly does rock! It seriously is one of the greatest manga series of all time. Some of my recomendations (for those looking for a good/dark series) would be Fullmetal Alchemist (as stated somewhere above by someone) and X by Clamp.
The manga for FMA is far greater than the anime that was made, so if you think the anime is good, the manga is even better! As for X, its one of the most beautiful series ive ever read. Clamp (as usual) creates a great story and the art in this series is gorgous! Sure its very violent and bloody, but this series really blew me away by its sheer beauty. Its a shame its been incomplete for the past few years....

Even as a kid and saw it for the first time I knew it was historically inaccurate, I didn't know just how inaccurate it was, but I still enjoyed it anyways. Anyways, awsome review, i'm so glad you where picked for this. I also loved how you threw in the historical info as well.
I would like to see you tear apart more Disney movies as well if you can. I don't have anything against them or anything, I fact I love them as much as everyone else does. But as you showed in your Pocahontas review, they are historically inaccurate (Mulan) and others just totally screw over the original story it was based on (the Little Mermaid). Heck, just make more reviews period, no matter what you cover. You're just that awsome!
I can't belive I actually enjoyed this crap when it first came out, I also enjoyed Space Jam as well, but more so (because of the Loony Tunes). I haven't seen Kazaam sense then, and I barely remembered it (only the part about the genie in a boom box and some kid). After seeing this review, I so glad that was all I could remember....

Best fight **EVER**!!! Extemely well edited, and just pure AWSOMENESS! (i'm disapointed that the critic lost though, but someone had to win/loose) and nice touch adding some music by Nightwish in there. (If youre going to have epic music ya gotta have Nightwish,....or Within Temptation, their music would work too.)
as for the "The End?"......part 2 to this epic final battle I hope?
