Very nice my evil twin. I never thought we were such big Sailor Moon fans.
I was about half an inch from my jaw slamming Satan on the head from it's drop, but then the video cut away before the striptease. WASUPWITDAT?!
Actually though, the entire video was pretty funny. I love the Sailor Says jokes, and overall it was all very entertaining. You once again prove yourself er uh... me.
Awesome list. Number 1 should have been seen from miles away. Anything less and you truly never grew up in the 80's/90's. Or you didn't see Who Framed Roger Rabbit...
and that's just sad.
Marge Simpson totally should have been on this list though or some form of honorable mention. Sure she never popped out of her vest, but she's classic. If not her then have Jane or Wilma from Jetsons/Flinstones respectively. I mean those women single handedly gave hope to us men believing "Hey, I can be a fat, loudmouth pig and still land a hottie. God bless America."
I must applaud you. Recently I mentioned how hard pressed I was to finding an AMV without some form of Linkin Park being involved and my friends dismissed me like I was crazy. I love AMVs (though as a fight junkie they usually tend to have VS in the title), and it's great to see respect being given to those that are actually good. For every ten Naruto/Sasuke Numb videos there's bound to be at least one good display of the culture out there, and I applaud you again for taking the time out to search them out. Mind you without knowing the subject material I'm left to guess the emotions behind such a video, but alas that's what comes as a result when your tastes are limited to a main character with a "finishing attack". So it shall be.
In summary, fantastic video my friend. I enjoy looking to these videos just as much as That Guy's (original?) own. Keep up the good work... and please think up a good closer. Ted Turner will grasp vengeance upon you.
I had to expect good things when your opening title made me chuckle. Games You May Not Don't Know... Actually I think I've messed it up already, but regardless I'm more than willing to give you a fair chance. Afterall, why not? I never heard of this game before, but watching it totally made me want to buy it!
Except I don't own a Sega Saturn. Or a television. Or a computer. How am I doing this?
Bah! Regardless I enjoy yourstuff. I'd quiet the music down because it's hard to hear you over it at points, and the subtitles are distracting. But your humor is very vibrant and I'd love to see other games you review. Good luck and congratulations bro.
I have to say that this was well done, and I absolutely loved your line about Deathnote gripping you like a heart attack. I can't even begin to explain how perfect that line is. I won't sit here and say "THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE LIST!" or "THAT IS NOT LIST WORTHY! HOW DARE YOU BETRAY THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE LIST!" because well, that's just silly. I enjoy your work a great deal and I'd love to see some in depth critics of other programs. Again my friend I congratulate your accomplishment here and eagerly await your next installment.
Rock on!
Wait that's your line? Well go F yourself then.
What's perfect about these videos is that every time you make me want to go out and buy the game afterward. Of course I'd need the system too, but no point getting caught up on the details. I enjoy your humor as random as it is, and I'll refrain from offering a critique (as small as it would be) on an older video. Great work old bean. Yes I called you old bean. Deal with it.
I have to disagree with most comments here that say this video is out of place. I personally enjoy using this site as medium to promote both anime and AMVs, but I would have a legitimate complaint that this video didn't seem as well crafted as your previous. There were moments of stuttering here and there, and it lacked the every charming flare your other videos had. I've found your greatest strength in prior movies was with your words and delivering almost a whimsical property to titles when you speak of them, but I found little of that here. Regardless I can't say I didn't enjoy the video, though anyone who's watched AMVs before has bound to have seen this film at least once. Good work my friend, and keep it up.
Ha, that was great. What's worse is that you undoubtedly spent money on that too. You totally need to frame the cartridge's remains and like auction that off or something. Classic.
Riddler's casting is going to be interesting. I like Johnny Deep on the surface, but I think Hugo Weaving, Michael Emerson, or even Kelsey Grammar (I'm not crazy, just... sit on it for a moment) might make good casting calls too. I'd also like to see Mr. Freeze in a... well... not idiotic setting. He's one of the better designed villains, so I'd love to see him get a real role.
Funny review, and very well written, but tone down the size. I scrolled down at one point and that was a mistake. It's a rather intimidating gauntlet cast down before me, but it was worth the time. I recall seeing this in school once when the teachers likely ran out of a teaching plan, and decided to throw this at us to keep us quiet for a few hours. Mission accomplished? Regardless, the nostaglic flashback was welcome... I think.
Again, great er... review? Looking forward to the next.
Worth a Look: The best of the best that you don't know about, I present movies, television shows, bands, games, books, or even aspects of culture that you don't know about, but you absolutely should. Just for Laughs: Your complete guide to all things funny. A review of current comedy flicks, but without the grade. Instead I suggest who will enjoy this movie, and who should stay away at all costs. Random Ramblings: A look into the inner works of my mind, or rather the lack therefore of. These hold no logic, and are simply spur of the moment articles written for the sheer purpose of being written. Tend to be rants more than anything, but again they are more random than anything.
