2008-07-07 06:08:12	Captain Planet		The "ruler" bit was brilliant. I hope it comes up again in a later episode. Then we'll all smile because we remembered it from this one.
2008-07-02 10:52:27	The Spiderman Trilogy		I hate how every villain in them is ALWAYS made out to be some tragic character who's really good, deep down. I can see that working, for Dr Octopus, and even the Green Goblin, but 75% of them fitting that mold was annoying. At least Venom wanted to make him suffer out of pure hatred (but I hated how they fudged the symbiote's origin, although I can see why it had to happen that way). ALSO--I hated how they deviated from Venom's origin--in the comics, Brock went to the church to ask forgiveness because he was going to kill himself; in the movie, he goes to ask Jesus to kill Peter. WTF!? I'd think that the liberal ninny who makes villains into good guys deep down would've eaten up the original way it happened. But, overall, I absolutely love the series.
