Visuals and a couple combat bugs he found in the last level?

I don't know.. It's a platformer with some fun combat and the dark tones you would expect from the American Mcgee title.

Also the voice acting is pretty dang good, especially the ones like Roger Jackson for the Cheshire Cat who is downright evil, menacing, and has you doubting every word spoken (as if the bloody teeth don't help, lol)

There's a couple youtube videos of every line that's spoken by characters like the cat and you really have to marvel at how well done it is.

I just...really can't see where the criticisms come from.. Sure you probably aren't going to play it more then once or twice, but it's not like it's the first game like that..
