The silliest part of this "work" is that Peter Chimaera says that he had someone "proofread" his work.
I believe that as much as I believe that he read about literary devices in a book.
Seriously, even whole-word-induced semi-literacy and whole-word-induced dyslexia couldn't produce writing this atrocious. Really, having your idiot friend who has only one iota more brainpower than you look over your work and give you pointers is not a good idea.

I think the genie just had to justify its own existence. Proof positive that it should not. So Joan of Arc had to have a genie to put the British empire on the run? What a prick. And that made sense as opposed to just raising an army the normal way, which she actually did?

Also about time travel, it is Fan [size=large]FICTION[/ size]. It does not need to be possible for it to be a good story; even though that is not the case with this one. Though this is "historically" based you can't ask for realism from an author like this.
