I find that in animes the unlikable bitch is very likable if she's the comic relief, the Charlie Brown, or her rival is equally or slightly more annoying.

The line "If this is justice, then I'm a banana" is supposed to mean it's unfair that she has to kill her ally. That said, even knowing what the line means, it's still completely silly and out-of-place in what's supposed to be a serious moment.

Still, I honestly kinda liked Mad Bull 34 myself from your reviews - I mean, yes, it was insane but it was so ridiculously insane you eventually just stopped trying to take it at face value and enjoy it for the mindless trash that it was (at least until that last episode...)
This? This just seems kinda...boring isn't quite the right word. Tedious, maybe? I'm still not certain what happened and I went through your two reviews of this thing. It kinda sucks that it took itself so seriously even though it doesn't seem like there was any way it could really have lived up to...well, anything. =S
And yes, the ending sucked but I doubt I'll be the last to say that nor do I think it'll be the last time you review an anime on here that has a ending made of suck.
Looking forward to your next review of...whatever it is.

Want to know something very weird? I did some research on Wikipedia after well I had seen Part 1 and the death count is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar different in the Manga then it is in the OVA,its like three different stories in one Universe.

As for the original ending, you can find it online if your Google-fu skills are good enough. Anyway, it's the same as in the dub, only instead of the crappy zoom in with a voiceover there's a zoom out on the city and a wall of text in Japanese that tells how the whole matter had been covered up and nobody had idea of what happened but, because of the decay of the political class, nothing had been done and that *they* still exist. This, in my opinion, proves that the dub version somehow managed to improve it.

How about Harmageddon? It's a Korean anime with a main character named Delta Boy. Also check out The Ultimate Teacher. It's about a guy who gets his genes spliced with a cockroach who wants to pull a GTO before GTO existed.
Also what ever happened to the omnipresent cheek cut?
Sword for Truth really does blow. The horrible acting is only part of the pain. The story is completely unexplained and insane.

Call me an overanalyzer, but I don't think she was incompetent there, she just couldn't bring herself to deal her friend a fatal wound in the even that like tossing a grenade a Brigeet only kills the people near her, Brigeet still might survive, making the guy's sacrifice pointless. Call it a lack of faith in herself & others.

You know, it's really not a dumb line if you actually put a bit of thought into it. The egregious line in question is "Ichihara said the recoil off this gun could break my arm." One more time, in case you missed it. "Ichihara said the recoil off this gun COULD break my arm." Then later on, you go on to state "the handcannon that is allegedly so powerful that human hands cannot fire it." Way to completely misrepresent the original line for an attempt at sarcasm.
The original line is the same as saying in relation to the following video, that "the recoil off this gun could make it fly out of your hands."

Here's the kicker. If you're well trained and apply good marksmanship fundamentals (such as bone support, etc), you can control recoil. Maybe the line should have read "Ichihara said the recoil off this gun could break my arm if I'm not careful," but the original line is still not in the realm of retarded if you know anything about firearms, and not completely rewrite the line in question.
Anyway, just like your harping on that line, really, this one is harping on yours as well. I don't think your review sucks because of this, that part just bugged the crap out of me.
