I kinda wondered at the end of your Strike Commando video if that last "in America" was somehow intentionally referring to Yu Gi Oh abridged but figured that was a long shot.
• ladydiskette  - CHRISTOPHER LEE!?!?!?!
avatar
Oh why, why Christopher Lee....you are better than this movie :(
• SpeedyEric

At least this film is a star better than Howling 2.

Bold BigFlank, Lump Beefbroth, Punch Rockgroin, Flint Ironstag and Spoony One!

They TRIED to kill him with a forklift HUZZUH!

You forgot to mention Roll Fizzlebeef.
• moonymonster
Which movie did that come from, anyway? I want to see it...

This review had me dying when you Did you know that I originally wrote first posted and you didn't have to talk. All you had to do was show the movie as is and the review was hilarious, then you added Spoony for flavor!

I love the music when the shield gets thrown and their looks are priceless.

XD. Christopher Lee easily kicks Captain America's ass.

Ah, but can he kick Reb Browns ass?
• RockBandGod100  - hmmm
Well at least somebody on this site can tell the difference between a bulldozer and a forklift. ;)

Wait if the person ages 38 days per hour then that means the person would age 912 times faster than normal which means if the villian dies by old age in seconds then he was barely 1/300 of a year or a day away from death anyway.

1 year= 8760 hours

8760/300= 29.2 hours

29.2/912= 0.032hours

.032*60= 1.92 minutes

so,either the chemical supposed vary in doses which wasn't said or their definition of rapid is different. BTW Great video. you can correct me if my math is wrong.

Or the dose that was given to him was extremely high, as it's usually administered by vapor, requiring perhaps a few drops for one dose. Since he got hit by a whole bottle of the stuff, well... :P

I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid. They must have taken some of the episodes of the TV show and made those into the films.

What kills me the most is that the purse snatching thug is still standing there like duuuuuuuh as the shield is slowly coming toward him and then just taps him on the back but still renders him unconscious.
• FullmetalNinja25

At least his outfit in this movie somewhat looks like his comic book costume.
• Asuka Soryu  - In America!

xD The Gate Keither. I guess Spoony's past has come back to haunt him,.. in America!
• Rail
avatar
Yeah...to add to the list of crimes (other than purse snatching to get to their pension checks) the wheelman apparently also carnapped the classic Scooby Doo clone Speed Buggy. Either that or the poor buggy just hasn't been able to find decent paying work and is reduced to being in movies....like Captain America II

The Gate Keith'er?
Oh god. IN AMERICA is coming.
I sense Bandit Keith.

Good review, Spoony.

I do have to say that the whole switch to the MST3K "A man in the sky?" clip went unnoticed by me until Crow talked (wow, that means CA2 Death too Soon is really lacking in the interest department if I can't tell the difference between it and a movie on MST3K, and yes, I didn't see the silhouettes until I noticed Crow talk).

And I second your thoughts on no Reb Brown yelling. Why did Reb not yell?

Final thought: when the aging stuff was spilled on Christopher Lee's character, I sort of expected something like what happens to Donovan at the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, not some cheap editing and whitening of Mr. Lee's hair paired with closing his eyes and moving his lips so you don't see his teeth (and having a look on his face like he just crapped himself).
• Death the Kid  - Uh oh.
avatar
I'm almost to afraid to watch...THE SQUEAL!! *prepares Black Lantern Ring* Ready. ....*clicks*

EDIT:

OMFG!! GATE KEITHER! WE'RE DEAD!!!!
• MSH-Hitman

Christopher Lee's voice alone is too good for this movie lol Oh good lord. This has some of the worst fight scenes I've seen lol "OH NO! I jumped off the forklift and rammed my head into a box! CURSE YOU CAPTAIN AMERICA!"
• Desensitized
Man, the thug sells being hit by the shield like RVD.

I never knew there was a sequel.
• Roivas
I smell a crossover...

I have seen this one. Having Christopher Lee as bad guy is always a good thing how matter bad movie itself is.
• epsilon246
... You know, the chemical should have kept going forward, smashing the bottle wouldn't change the momentum of the liquid... bad movie bad!

remember this movie has no concept of physics or momentum, he tossed his bike up and it landed softly on the wall.

also I know who the gatekeither is... in Canada! :D

The shield was going in the opposite direction and at an angle cutting towards Christopher Lee. Probably very highly exaggerated, but if we can assume the +1 Plastic Shield was going faster than the bottle - which certainly sounds reasonable, considering Cap's strength - some of the liquid was bound to have fallen at or near Lee. Perhaps not drench his coat, but at least taint the air around him with aging vapor.

I have to say I love the fact that the guy on the forklift bails out of it only to knock himself out, and that Spoony got to sing "He Tried To Kill Me With A Forklift" again.

I LOVE all the MST3k stuff. Spoony, you really need to do a retrospective on MST3k and explain where all of this great material came from.

The Dr. Strange TV movie is The Dark Knight compared to both these movies combined.

Thanks, Captain America, for making my hometown look like a bunch of illiterate slobs. We have one of the biggest book stores in America, not that anyone making this would care about but just sayin'.
• Bre2nan
avatar
Yeah, considering the brainwave the people who made this movie were operating on, our entire state consist of nothing but sailors, beaver trappers, and lumberjacks in their view.
• Bre2nan  - No, Why Portland

I think I speak for all Oregonians when I say that we're ashamed of having Portland swept up in this load of bore.
