07.30.2010 - 21:52 | weaseltonAlmost wonder if the end boss is sort of a gift to folks who already went through the game and died, a lot.

I like when you play awesome games, its more satisfying to see you beat a legitimate challenge rather than struggle through a flawed piece of crap with bad hit detection or glitches or bad level design or something. I also love seeing you take on genesis games since its the system I had growing up. I hope you take on some of my other favorites like Comix Zone or Vectorman 2.
Actually, that airship level really reminded me of the Wing Fortress Zone from Sonic 2, weird.

07.31.2010 - 01:17 | SpotTheShingoYet another example of an anticlimax boss. (Confused? Go here: http://tvtropes.org/ pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ AnticlimaxBoss)
Hope no one else has thought of this, yet...

07.31.2010 - 02:13 | Neo_GenesisI have never been able to beat this game. I always run out of continues long before I get close to the end. I think the farthest I got was stage 4, and im still proud of even that achievement!
I could 'cheat' my way through by using save game states on an emulator, but there's something more enjoyable about playing this on the original console with the Genesis pad.

oooooh
Man was this game unholy.
It had great graphics but boy did it piss me off in every way that I didn't want to.
It pisses you off from the first stage,
there are so many projectiles,
the hero is pretty big for a side-scroller which makes it harder to dodge things,
you can't control your movement during a jump... which makes it look easy although it's really hard.. like 'Ghosts and Ghouls'.
The hero is really weak despite the fact that there are parts impossible to pass without getting several hits..
It's just full of stress and no enjoyment.
I got all the way to the last level but couldn't pass the reverse gravity part with a hundred drills.
I really wished there was a cheat code cause this game does not deserve the effort.
Thanks for the review.
Finally saw the ending.

07.31.2010 - 04:33 | adel123456789i remember playing this game. i only got to the ship part.
when i was a kid i played a game on my gameboy. i don't remember it's name but in it you are a ghost that takes over other bodies in order to win the level were you can use their abilities for your advantage. if i remember right, you start off the first level with the option of possessing a guy who shots bullets, or a woman who kicks, or a dog.

07.31.2010 - 07:05 | SpyHunter29Believe it or not, I actually hated this game. The controls are *not* nearly as natrual as LordKaT led them on to be. I played the arcade version on GameTap and beat it; at least that had infinite continues.

07.31.2010 - 07:48 | CjalFunnily, I have this (Sega Genesis Version) and Manual. Never could beat it, but then I didn't have the patience to play Until [s]We[/s] I Win. Something interesting is that, at least for the original Genesis Cover in the US, it's a purple Spandex Dude running away from two people who look an awful lot like "Beakie" Space Marines from Warhammer 40K ( http://www.pwned.com/ gamecovers/segagenesis/ f28dc44652f98b198f8360c67 5952421-Strider.jpg The guy on the left).
