This game looks amazing! Good move, putting the instructions on the lid of the game. It's one fewer thing to have to worry about, especially when putting the game away.
I got a real kick out of the Pac-Man death sequence at the end as well. But those serrated teeth...wow, those ghosts don't have a chance.

Larry is ok too.
Lol, Ashens and I may do couple of vids on merchandise and board games based on 80's arcade games.
But we are planning on something very special together, something you'd never expect (also it's not tech or gaming related whatsoever!)[/ color]

06.25.2010 - 23:44 | SpotTheShingoThis was a real treat! God, I miss my Pac-Man board game, now! Wonder if Board James would cover this?
(I, too, had the Zaxxon BG as well. Wasn't my fave, though...)

We're sort of collecting them ATM between us, We've got most of them (including "Turbo", the Sega arcade racing game NO-ONE remembers :D) and all we're missing is a complete Centipede, Popeye and Zelda.
I've never seen a Pac-Man board game before, I wonder if its still being sold somewhere.
I found one in my attic, but I got this one off eBay for £5. (couldn't use the old one as it had been destroyed by a pile of ThunderCats and Real Ghostbusters figures! (Srsly!))

06.26.2010 - 00:12 | SayaCelineLol that game looked fun. I don't remember hearing about it though.
And I loved the Penelope Pitstop reference! I loved that show when I was little! As for her relationship with the dwarves...do you really want to know? lol

It is nice to see something else involving Ashens. It seems like it has been quite a while since the last video he had here. Also, I didn't know that you and Ashens lived close enough to do something like this Larry. That's pretty cool. :)
I didn't know this existed until now. It looked okay at least. There was one or two things I didn't fully understand, but it still seemed like it could be fun.
Also, that Penelope Pitstop thing at the end was really random and rather entertaining.

Well he lives in Norwich and I live in London, so it's quite a trek. But he stayed over a few weeks ago to help me build a new PC!
But the games rules are slightly ambiguous, so we made half the stuff up ourselves :D
As for the ending, yeah that was Ashens not editing out the random bollocks we normally chat about, it went on to be about Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget about a minute later!

I sometimes see this game at car boot sales and have always wondered how you play it.
Board games tend to get over looked these days so its good to see you revive them.
I have about 30-40 piled up in my room.
And larry do you live next door to a school or something?

Thanks, well it would have been boring if we had put up the whole video uncut as the game was about 10-15 minutes long, so these were the best bits. But glad you liked it.
Would you ever like to see another in the future?

Lol, yeah my loft is covered in old board games, and the insulation is embedded with half chewed kerplunk sticks and lego pieces :D
But yeah the back of my garden is next to an infant school. and an neighbour with an annoying dog.

06.26.2010 - 05:38 | FerninHey Larry, if you're looking for a complete Centipede board game, you should contact Syd Lexia, he might be willing to part with his. He did an article about if a couple years back, check it out here if you like.
Also, great video, always been a fan of both of you guys.
