Thanks for giving this a try for us Benzaie!
Wow, they weren't very creative with the Darth Maul burger at all, were they. I see what you mean about Quick Burger. They really could have gone wild and made the burger something special. Outside of the red bun and the such, it's really nothing special. Hell, I could make a more 'Darth Maulish' burger myself. The Darth Vader one sounds a little more creative and maybe even good though.
For those curious, this is how Quick Burger describes each of them...
The Dark Burger - two minced beef patties topped with two slices of melted pepper Cheddar cheese, pepper sauce and endives all between red-colored buns sprinkled with black pepper and poppy seeds.
The Jedi Burger - two minced beef patties topped with a slice of melted cheese, spicy mustard sauce and white mozzarella cheese cubes all between buns dusted with flour.
The Darth Vader Burger - two minced beef patties topped with one slice of melted pepper Cheddar cheese, pepper sauce, endives and rings of red pepper all between black-colored buns sprinkled with black pepper and poppy seeds.

What I would change for the Darth Maul...
The 2 beef patties and 2 slices of pepper jack are fine. As is the pepper sauce. It needs some danger and some crunch though. Red Onions are a must. Maybe some crushed corn chips and deep fried jalapenos. Heck, I might even suggest changing the bun. Maybe a nice pretzel bun.

I'm not sure I can agree. Not that I hate hardcorner, but somehow I had more fun watching you eat and overact to the overdose of unhealthy stuff, it's especially weird considering how most "eating" videos do bore me. Guess it's just me, or maybe I'm just a bit upset at Hardcorner for talking about the Wonderswan and it's megaman game without even going into detail on the megaman game! I heard that one was "different" in more than 1 way!

This was hilarious. And the burger looked so creepy. The bread looked all orange... eeewwwww.
To be honest, I'd love to see a "classy" food video from you. Everytime I've been to France I've loved the food, and I bet it'd be hilarious to watch x)
Anyway, fun video! Even though the burger looks ridiculously creepy I'd prolly like to try it if I had the chance...

so thats why the french think our food sucks! a bunch of Belgians are making shit hamburgers and passing themselves off as American!... that and because American food is actually just from other countries styles of cooking and theres only like 10 or twenty honest to god amarican dishes.
...also, its good to know that fast food sucks everywhere :D

Ha-ha As a Belgian myself, I just had to get this exclusive burgers the week they got out... Basically I had a long lunchbreak and didn't feel like freezing my ass of in my school cafetaria so My friend and I went to get some out of curiosity. xD
The Jedi burger is very disappointing. A burger with 4 different cheeses and mustard sounds good on paper, but it's just a mess, eat a plain glob of Dijon mustard and you'll be as equaly satisfied. The Maul burger goes the same, but you don't even taste the beef, just grounded pepper, nothing more!
And Quick is alright, it's certainly not the worst burger joint. (I'm looking at you Fingers!)
And by the way: Belgium is NOT a French speaking country! Only 40% of us speaks French, the rest of us is Flemish and German to a lesser extent, and Luxembourg also speaks Luxembourgs, French and German, so also, not a French country! C'mon man, weren't you paying attention in 3rd grade geography?

They do the same thing here in the U.S. with restaurants and buffets that serve foreign foods. The Chinese place has a Chinese man with a stereotypical accent. The French food places generally have servers who speak with an odd French lisp, or all have menus with English translations for the food in tiny font. A few of the Italian places are somewhat the same. The idea is that if you cannot pronounce where the food came from originally, it must cost a lot more.

The bun has red food coloring.
Red food coloring & cosmetics are made with Carmine.
Carmine is made by "boiling female Cochineal insects in water to extract the carminic acid & then treating the clear solution with alum."
Enjoy your bug burger. & if you're reading this, there's a 50% you're wearing dead bug juice on your face.

02.07.2012 - 08:49 | steelabjurThose thin paddies are generally machine made, flash frozen, and bought in bulk by burger chains. They also tend to be blended with cereal product(s) rather than pure beef and per-seasoned. The guy in the kitchen just pulls them out of the box and throws them on the grill. Big chains like them because they cut down production cost, lower service time, and promote consistency across the chain (I.E. a Big Mac is the same in Seattle as it is in New York). If you go to higher quality shops (or mom and pop owned businesses) you can find proper thick burger paddies in the US, and the quality is more likely to be higher as well (same can be said for any food).
