Sorry for the annoying 3/5 minutes of black at the end of each video... I swear it's SONY VEGAS dicking around... I might reupload the files (it takes time though)
as for the Audio... I think I let the majority of the dialogue spoken in English didn't I, I know I did in the following part at least...
or when I talk over them, it's mostly because NOTHING is said appart from "would you like a ballon ? it's impossible to get a pair of shoes" and other bullshits...
also the reason the sound cuts in and out is because I do that series in both French and English, the audio mix is therefore fucked up, and this is already some work to give you SOME of the original audio...
so sorry for the annoyance, I'm trying to do my best with what I have I swear !
Still hope you're having a laugh with the commentary... part 2, 3 and 4 will follow... and then I'll see if I go through the whole game (I heard it's about TEN hours though) or go back to usual review...

I'm with you on the CG, it really does look very good. Content and gameplay are another factor though, and unless it gets interesting fast, I think you've just given me another reason not to want a PS3, although humping my controller DOES sound like a fun option.

You have got to be kidding me. And don't try and tell me it's imersive or more natural. Everything was so so compleatly forced and artificial it's like looking at aliens or robots. Wait, no, aliens or robots might be intersting.

Although, one thing I must ask for the future: I'd rather hear what the characters in the game are saying rather than to hear you talking over them, especially since I'm not a French speaker and thus can't really read the subtitles to understand what's going on. And since story is supposed to be the main draw for [i]Heavy Rain[/i], I actually found it kind of annoying that you wouldn't stop talking over some of the dialogue.

This is really good, I had no interest in the game until I saw the funny version of Heavy Rain.
Didn't feel like playing an interactive movie again. Demo reminded me of Indigo Prophecy. Not a bad kind of game, but not much of a game.

Am I the only one who is tired of rain being equated with sadness? I like the rain, and it does so many posotive things. Seriously, I want someone to make rain be something other than sadness. The fight to end this stereotype starts here.

But about the video... Nice Let's Play Benzaie, I laughed a lot, definitely getting a PHANTASMAGORIA feeling from this. But man, this game looks like shit. The story, gameplay, aesthetics all suck. The models all move awkwardly, these characters suck, and it doesn't look like a good form of entertainment at all.

I LOVE rain - as I do cold days and dark days. I get a kick of out of them and I find rain so comforting. Makes me warm inside. Love the sound of it - the smell of it! So could not agree more!
Oh, we started to play Heavy Rain the other night - talk about complicated - and took SO long just for the damn thing to load! Nearly gave up then!

Admittedly, the intro looks boring, but... I still wanna try this out. I really liked Indigo Prophecy, and I'm interested in seeing where the developer is going with this new project. Hopefully it will become more interesting as the game progresses.

1. You can't leave your house until you've finished a few retarded tasks.
2. You have to slowly wander from room to room, as you attempt puzzle out what to do next.
3. You perform meaningless actions such as TALKING TO YOUR CAGED PET.

1. It's apparently quite slow-paced and sad (at least so far), two things that never help an LP.
2. There's no way in hell you're doing a full LP of a game released THIS MONTH. I mean, honestly. If this game doesn't sell well, and there's a full video of the game online, it just isn't going to look good.

I know that the beginning of the game (from what I have heard)is EXTREAMLY slow. But I hear that if you stick with it it gets really good. I'm getting it this week cause one of my favorite games is their last game Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit) and the story and game play look interesting especially since I love adventure games. I'm not saying stop ripping on the game but give it a little chance before you totally put it off. So yeah I would love to see an entire lets play of Heavy Rain. :cheer:
