So from what I understand, Xbox 360 still doesn't have a demo for this (and probably never will?), and the local rental place recently went out of business.

I mean, I've loved the MK series ever since I first played the second game in the arcade as a kid; it's just that.. I WANT to be impressed. I WANT to be hopeful. I WANT to not be let down as I was with Deadly Alliance, Deception, Armageddon.. heck, even 4 (granted, I've only ever played the early test run of 4 so it gets a free pass).

I shall wait for purchase until I've seen any and all upcoming reviews for MK9 (in the meantime, I should probably go back and finish Shaolin Monks).
