I actually agree that SR2 was better overall than GTA4. GTA4 might have the better graphics and story, but the gameplay in SR2 was a lot more varied and it never got boring the whole time I played it. It was more over-the-top, more action-packed, and had arcadey driving physics (which, in this type of game, I prefer over the more realistic physics of GTA4). This might sound kind of weird, but... it felt more like a GTA game than GTA4 did.
Not to say I didn't like GTA4. Oh no, I spent nearly 70 hours playing it and I'm definitely getting Lost and Damned. I just would have preferred a more San Andreas/Vice City-style experience, and that's just what SR2 delivers.

Worse mock trial ever, and I'm in law school I've seen some horrid ones.
Bleh, Lost and Damned can suck my m$oft balls, it's way overrated and it's just there to suck more money out of naive kids.

I do have to agree with you, Joe. The cellphone was the most annoying part of GTA 4. I remember one time I was in a mission where I was trying to escape the police, then Roman calls me to go to a strip club, I say no and he sends me a picture of himself between two strippers. This distracted me for a moment, and as I was thinking, "What the hell?", I crashed and went sailing through my windshield into the middle of the street where at least five cars sped over Niko killing him instantly. Definitely, irritating.

02.17.2009 - 03:19 | schmidtmanI agree AngryJoe. I liked Saints Row 2 more than GTA IV. Because GTA IV was almost perfect and had every detail nailed, Saints Row 2 was just more fun. I laughed my butt off. A game should be fun in the first place right? You can have a game what on paper should be perfect in technique, but suck in fun. Like Flightsimulator. It's perfect and realistic in any way, but IT'S BORING!!:o I also liked the first Saints Row by the way, but it was pretty buggy.

Yes GTA4 is a good game but Saints Row 2 is so much damn better. Making your own character doing w/e the fuck you want is just amazing. And no fucking Roman calling for Bowling/American Titties/a show every god damn 2 minutes. To be honest I do not go to GTA for a story. I mean .....it did not feel like GTA at all. When you bring story to a character that kills 6 ppl while driving to the next mission by accident it falls apart. Saints row was perfect in story content for a game where you go around killing people every 5 minutes. Iam sorry Nico is a jerk, IDC if he had a phucked up past, doesn't mean he can kill 2,000 people to get to his goal. Story just does not work in sand box games like this.

I didnt actually watch the video I just saw the comments about how saints row 2 was so much better than grand theft auto. I really don't see how. I beat the saints row in 3 days. Im not talking about going straight mission to mission either. The only cool part about it is that you can play 2 players but it can only be on xbox live or through system link.
Saints Row 2 is for the people who play grand theft auto for a week and forget about it due to low attention span.

One more thing I HAVE TO say: The PC version sucks big time! Max. FPS I get with MINIMUM graphic options: 25! So average FPS are ~15! The problem might be my AMD X2 +4400!
