I love it when game designers play their own games. They've got so much insight into the world they've created.
Also: Man mode is beating this game with Simon.

LOL. I love this game. I've beat it several times and you know, Angry Joe didn't mention the best feature of this game. You can *SAVE* it, and it's stored on a .txt on your computer! You can start at the beginning of the last level you got to, and any powerups you've collected remain.
Of course, since it is a local save, if you're feeling particularly cheat-y you can edit it to go to whatever world/stage you want, edit powerups, lives, etc. The creator obfuscated the save data, but it's fairly easy to figure out if you're bored.

05.19.2010 - 23:55 | Greil9Great game, i like:
Mario (hey, he was the first one there)
Bill (Contra on mario levels? **** YEA)
Megaman (he was one fo my favourite games)
i hate:
Samus (unless max powered her shots just fly over foes)
Link (his sword just doesnt work too well in this one)
Simon (he would be one of the best, but his lack of aerial control makes him one of worst)

Everytime I see Link doing the downward thrust (hopefully spelt right...), I have to think of how he used this attack to kill Ganondorf in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess (but especially Wind Waker, because it came, like, out of nowhere. O.o; )
I so want to kill Goombas this way... I will definitely check this out! XD

Indeed this is a great game. Indie developers like Exploding Rabbit are really good at what they do. I would also recommend "The Final Death Wish". That's a well made shooter right there with RPG elements and customisation like you wouldn't believe.
I'm a little sad though. Seeing as you made a quick review on this game I was hoping for a score verdict from you. Though since this game is really well made and it has all the levels from the SMB game. I'm sure you would have given it a perfect 10 or near that score right?

Yeah, I've come across this game. I've played it a few times with each character, but I've never gotten far on Super Mario normally. I'll probably play some more tomorrow.
What's awesome is if you play one of the guys who can bust bricks with his weapon (especially Bill R, as shown) you can discover hidden prizes like 1UPs and stars that you didn't know about.
