Joe......why the hell do you even bother GETTING movie licensed games when you hate them so much? I mean, I disagree that every single movie licensed game in the world is horrible. I got the Amazing Spider-Man game, played, liked it, and I don't give a FUCK what anyone else says. I played it and I liked it and if you have a problem that I, a total stranger to you, like a game that you may not, then you have some serious issues and probably need to get professional mental help.
but Joe, you obviously don't like games that are based on movies. so why do you get them?

08.26.2012 - 03:33 | 301merlinobossWe really should just give up on movie licensed games. They should either just stop or put effort into them....Nah they'll just keep pumping crap out to make a cheap buck. Oh well at least it's entertaining when you guys review them.

A game about guns...and they're worthless. Nice. I would have expected a sort of strategic game where you blow up barrels or flip things over for cover or something crazy like that to keep your adrenaline up while still keeping an FPS feel. That would have been cool in my book.
Still, I'm not opposed to a 2-D version of the game, either. I wholeheartedly agree that new is not always best for a particular game and that it's important to keep track of those silly little details in game making like...playability. I refuse to even comment on the camera control.
When (Angry) Joe was caught behind the wall, it reminded me of so many 3-D games of the past (as well as 2-D games, but they're not nearly so heinous as to make a low picket fence at grandma's place an unscalable obstacle). I know that not everything can be interactive, but...just line up some barrels or have two doors on the fence. Anything that shows that this has been playtested would be nice.
Anyway, thanks again, Angry Joe. I'm sorry that this game may have ruined your day, but at least the memory of the movie will leave a (good) lasting impression regardless.

08.26.2012 - 07:12 | MalidictusTo be honest, your Stalone impression made the video unwatchable. For the first few lines it was fine, but after that it started feeling like needles into my ear drums.

Have to agree with this. At least use something that normalizes the audio at the least. I understand this is not a review video but the awful sound really kills my ears and constantly turning down my volume is annoying.
Look I love your videos and would like to watch them, but if your going to be yelling and be loud you need to do the minimum with sound editing.
I can't watch the Angry Joe plays videos at all with the audio being so unbearable. Sorry for the criticism but I think it is justified.

08.26.2012 - 22:08 | BleakoI don't understand why the two Joes are having a lot of fun for the first 10 minutes of the videos, laughing and getting excited over special moves and cutscenes and whatnot, and then saying that the game is so bad it ruined their day.

Well, there is talks of an Expendables 3 and they are going after Wesley Snipes, Clint Eastwood, Steven Seagal, and Nic Cage.
There is also an all-female Expendables-like movie coming out in the near future. Adi Shankar, the producer of "Dredd 3D" and the fan-film "#Dirty Laundry", is producing.
Question for AJ: Who would headline your female version of "Expendables"?

You two seemed to have a lot of fun for a game that was so bad, unless it's like that Man vs. Wild game you were playing where it's so bad it's fun to play with friends, just to laugh at it.
At first I thought this was going to be a review of the movie since you sometimes do those, like with the new Judge Dredd movie. I wasn't even aware there was a video game. Maybe that's a good thing. An Expendables game would sound really kick-ass. Too bad they had to make it a piece of shit like most (but not all) movie licensed games turn out to be. Chalk this one up for another one on your worst list. It should be an interesting list this year.
