10.27.2010 - 23:05 | QarxI think that was the point. There's not much to say about the game, because there isn't much the game has to offer, especially compared to its competitors... at least that's the impression I got from it.
Personally, I don't have an opinion on the game, but I thought the review was kind of funny. Granted, I didn't think it was as funny as some of his other reviews, but then again, I just find Joe screaming in anger (i.e., "FOUR HOURS!!") to be hilarious.

10.27.2010 - 23:27 | lordioThere was a score given, even if not by Joe (a 5/10, in case you missed it).
I figure Qarx is right too. Despite having not played the game, I believe I can guess the general gist of the storyline and gameplay elements (American soldiers fighting in the middle east against "terrorists" (not Al-Qaeda or the Taliban, conspicuously), first-person shooting with limited weapon capacity, some sort of regenerating health, and probably more than a small dose of good-ol' all-American patriotism).
A firm "pass" (in the buy/pass dichotomy, not the pass/fail one).

Well, i've played the game and i wasn't impressed... Especially since a lot of the development team from DICE also worked on Battlefield: Bad Company 1 & 2... Personally i find the whole "modern warfare" setting to be tiresome... Having been overseas firsthand, the realism just isn't there for me... I'm just glad i rented the game, although i still feel cheated out of the money...

10.27.2010 - 23:18 | SunsetWaySorry, Joe. While I support trying new ideas, this one just wasn't my type of humour and the beard was creepy, hard to understand, and when I could understand him, I didn't find him funny.
I usually love when you add in skits to your reviews but this one just didn't do it for me.
That being said, I'm not one of the crazy fans that's boycotting you because of this. I look forward to watching more videos from you.

A decent review I will say, however, I feel for a game as big as Medal of Honor that you should have given it a "real" review.
The beard was funny, but I really think that it should have been an opening act rather than the whole review. Between all the war stories and rambling, it was kinda hard to gauge what you really felt about the game. There seemed to be more gag in this episode than review, and though I have no problems with gags, the main reason I watch is to see what you think.
Also, I felt the beard kinda overstayed his welcome. Some of his war stories were amusing, and I thought the beer and uzi part was funny, but after about the 2nd or 3rd anecdote, it came to the point I want you to rip it off and just give us a straight up review.
anyway, not trying to be too critical, but I really wanted a "Joe" review for this game. Your friend has got talent for voice and facial expressions, but I feel the video in whole could have been better thought out.

Bennett the Sage did a "real" review of this game very recently, and to be honest, there's not really anything else to say. Certainly not much Joe could use for comedic value.
Sage gave the thing a proper lookover, and even that got pretty heavily trolled. A lot of folks not wanting to believe it really is as astoundingly average, so perfectly middle-of-the-road as to be able to say nothing more remarkable about it than how amazingly beige it is.
Browns and beige people, earth tones!
To be honest, using it as fodder for something creative and humorous as this is probably about as respectful to such a long standing series as you can get. Otherwise this video would have gone more along the lines of "Oh. Yeah. This game is... uh.... average. I think I forgot it already."

Everyone supports freedom of speech...untill they come across a comment they disagree with.
Seriously, this site got rid of the emoticons & image linking but kept the thumbs? Ditch the thumbs; there's something overtly diversifying & trollish about them. We should not place a value on comments; they should all be equal. Also, users who hog the comment posting for long winded argument wars should be suspended from posting for a week.

Buuuuuh...?
"...users who hog the comment posting for long winded argument wars should be suspended from posting for a week."
Because the posting of comments that are not relevant to the video distresses you so much?
Hypocrisy's not a word you've come across before, I see.
Dude, I get my fair share of thumbs down, it doesn't worry me. The idea that the majority of users here are so fragile that they can't stand the idea that others might disagree with them is really pretty laughable.

After hearing what everyone has said about this new MOH, I won't buy it. That is really sad because the MOH series has always been one of my favorites and I would have expected more. Well, time to go relive memories by playing Allied Assault, Pacific Assault, and a personal favorite of mine Frontlines.
