I would so get another Mutant League football game in a heartbeat, however the board game still looks awesome and might be worth checking out sans a console.

I have this game on the PC and like it. Picked it up because I liked the Warhammer fantasy universe... and orks playing football are just hilarious.
I personally don't really like the turn-based mode. See, that reminds me.
Joe, why'd ya not mention the real-time mode? Less planning and more stomping on enemy players! Or is it not that good to be mentioned?
Anyway, yet another good review.

Had this on PC. It was entertaining at first. Looked great, sounded great, comedic commentators and lots of funny moments.
BUT I have never before had a game, which grows SO old. Unless you play against other people every match is pretty much the same.
It is a good recreation of the boardgame, but i doesn't have the boardgame-feel to it, which makes boardgaming awesome.
In the end; buy the boardgame.

I always wanted to try blood bowl (the board game) cause it looked pretty cool. And I'm already into 40k. There all pretty awesome hobbies!
The video game looks good! Except the lack of customization and online play for the
XL version. Thats bull! It's seems that GW has been slapping their customers in the face quite a lot these days. Contempt for their customers indeed!
Good video man.

Yeah, and enjoy your windows blue screen when your computer crashes mid game because you have a Trojan virus and once you reboot, reformat, and reinstall windows on your computer... you find out that because of Drm you have used up all the installs for your beloved pc game so you can no longer play it.

It's the first time I watch one of your videos and the only reason why I did is because you were talking about Blood Bowl. More than that, I skipped most of the vid because I was hoping you would explain the board game live.
Unfortunately you just went through the game.
I love board games, but Blood Bowl is one I haven't got a chance to play.
Have you played Heroscape?
Dungeon Twister?Great games.

Man, that's rude. At least have the courtesy to watch the video, and if you don't watch it, don't admit that you didn't! Joe puts a lot of time into these, and it shows. This is a review, not a Let's Play.
By the way, Joe, I LOVED the epic death metal over such extreme sports as chess! I laughed so hard, I think I scared my roomate. Keep the comedy coming!

May I ask why you only gave the PC game 5/10?
I think it's fantastic, follows the board game so very well, interface is much more manageable, it updates regularly and has even added an extra race (for free, none of this crappy add-on packs), and ofcourse you can play online! It has everything you'd want from a Blood Bowl game, I can't see why you rated it so low..
Hell even the commentary in the game is Golden! (albeit abit repetitive after 50 games).
The only thing I can complain about is the damn LOADING TIMES! DX< lol.God I can't believe how much they destroyed the Xbox version tho.. T... That leaves me speechless.

The PC game is an Average game, a 5/10 on my scale isnt the death sentence it is for other games.
It gets boring after while, the commentary is annoying, the pause screen options are a joke, it doesnt retain my interest as well as the boardgame does (i guess it looses something when it goes virtual). It was a wasted opportunity to innovate with the real-time mode, etc.
An Average Game that appeals to a limited number of people - I'd say I got the rating pretty spot on.
