We're almost there, people! Today, Number Two of my Top 6... a wicked monarch who is a bug.

Number Two: The Evil Queen Pulsating Bloated Festering Sweaty Pus-filled Malformed Slug-for-a-Butt (aka Lucy)

Yes, her name IS an Overly Long Gag.

One of the GREATASTIC (in my opinion) Earthworm Jim Villains, Queen Slug-for-a-Butt, is the evil monarch who rules over the planet Insectika. Of course, as one planet is never enough, she also wants to take over the UNIVERSE!

Anywho. She really, really hates her twin sister, Princess What's-her-Name. For you see, few Insectikans actually like What's-her-Name, since she is quite ugly for Insectikan standards. Yes. They find Slug-for-a-Butt gorgeous. As such, our good Queen banished What's-her-Name for her ugliness (GO AWAY YOU HURT MY FOUR EYES, I suppose), and What's-her-name ended up leading a rebel movement against her sister. Slug-for-a-Butt's feelings were hurt by this cruel act - such ingratitude! And this is the reason of that deep rivalry/hatred between sisters.

Queen Slug-for-a-Butt is actually the rightful owner of Jim's Ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit. She was the one who ordered Professor Monkey-for-a-Head to build it and Psy-Crow to deliver it. The first one succeeded, but the latter failed, and the rest is history. Those two are still her minions, though, even though they at one point exile her and become the rulers of Insectika. I shall expand a little about this episode, called "The Exile of Lucy". Psy-Crow and Monkey-for-a-Head are quite sick of being the Queen's lackeys, and decide it's time to do something about that. They force the Narrator of the show to say they have deposed Slug-for-a-Butt, who is exiled to Earth. There, she meets Mrs. Bleverage, and they become friends.

She gets a job, marries some guy, and lives a simple, happy life. That is, until her sister and Jim convince her to kick out the new rulers of Insectika. Mrs. Bleverage goes too, and in the end she stays in Insectika with her friend. And  of course, by the next episode, Monkey-for-a-Head and Psy-Crow are yet again part of her workforce. And very, very scared of her.

Queen Slug-for-a-Butt is quite the remarkable villain. She would do everything to get her Ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit back from Jim, true, but she's a very busy Queen: let her henchmen do it instead! Her scepter may allow her to shoot very powerful energy beams and stuff, but as a true Queen she's got other worries. Aerobics, for example.

Mens sana in corpore sano. Or whatever.

Or pretending to be that guy from The Shining.

Or operating Santa Claus.
