The way you think of Lucasarts can really date you as a gamer. Most people nowadays know them as a shovelware studio that exists solely to push the next Star Wars game. There was a time, however, a long time ago, that they made some of the most amazing, artistic and influential games the industry had yet seen. Their adventure titles like Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion were prevalent throughout the late 80s and early 90s, but gradually petered off throughout the decade, until their last one was published in 2000. Sadly, the studio hasn't really looked back since. However, you're not here to read about the history of Lucasarts, are you? Good, I'm not here to write about it either.
Lucidity is a charmer. As soon as I saw it, its developing studio, and its price point of $5 (As of the time of this review, there is a sale on Steam, you can buy Lucidity for $3.34). I was not disappointed.
As soon as I started it up my eyes were happy. The animation appears somewhere between papercraft cell-shaded 3D and claymation. It's hard to describe, so I'll show you an image instead.
