Mulder and Scully are called to investigate a possible case of witchcraft but find themselves caught in the middle of a much larger conspiracy in 2004's Playstation2/XBox survival horror release......but as a huge fan of the series, I find it difficult to play through the whole thing TWICE and not find a LOT wrong with it LOL
Or if you're up for watching Scully do autopsies and awkwardly run down streets, you can view her playlist HERE
...Today I'm looking at Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, the 3 game in a currently abandoned series by CAPCOM. Onimusha is a great series that just unfortunately never made the sales to keep new games coming out. While not an RPG either, the earlier titles having more in common with Resident Evil games, they do incorporate more RPG elements as the series goes on enough to warrant reviewing as well as the poor sales leading to an under appreciated series that needs more attention.
The first game was a release title for the PS2 and sold very well, enough to guarantee a sequel and told the tale of Samanosuki Akechi (modelled after real life actor Takashi Kaneshiro and is the fictional brother of the real life Mitsuhide Akechi) as Nobunaga was revived after making a pact with demons. He's granted a magical gauntlet that allows him to fight the demons and become an Onimusha to fight them. So people are rescued and the lord of demons is destroyed, so moving on
The second Onimusha introduced a whole host of new characters, new protagonist Jubei Yagyu, (modelled after the late Yusaka Matsuda) takes up arms against Nobunaga who escaped Samanosuki in the first game when his village is destroyed by demons. Yagyu is half-Oni as his mother was an Oni so he has access to the same abilities as Samanosuki without the need of a magic Gauntlet. Eventually after working with a group other other playable characters Nobunaga is defeated and all is well.

Check ouy my review of Dead Island on GotGame.com

Hey Beatle#9 here, and I've been wanting to review this game for quite some time. It's called Sniper Elite for the PS2, Wii, CPU, and Xbox (not the 360 :( ). Just so you know this is not a recent game, as it was released in 2005. This is of course a third/first person shooting war game. You might be thinking "Wait 'Sniper Elite' that sounds like you just sit on a building and snipe enemies for a couple of levels, if I wanted that I'd go to AddictingGames.com." Well that's only a small piece of the game, it does have a story, and quite a good one at that, in fact it's based on true events, dead serious.
The story takes place during the closing of WWII, but the USSR and Germany are still in a heated battle for Berlin, if you've heard of the Berlin Wall you may be familiar with this story. You play as an american OSS agent fighting posing as a German soldier, whose mission is to help Germany fend off the USSR, because as we all know COMMUNISM IS BAAAAAAAAD! Your main objective, from what I can gather, is to keep the Russians from acquiring Germany's technology, like their atomic bomb research. And that's pretty much the story you're just doing undercover work. But you do get a lot of variety with the missions which I will explain in the talk of the gameplay.
One thing that's very unique about this game is that when shooting with the sniper rifle you have to take gravity, and wind direction depending on the difficulty, into consideration, which makes this game much more realistic than others like it. This does take some getting used to, but is easier than you might think. Just memorize how high the sight is every time you get a hit whenever a target looks as far as a previous target hit. And if you are doubting that you will get a head shot, aim lower for a better chance to get a hit. Speaking of head shots there are mortal combat-like cinematics showing the path of the bullet right into the target's skull. Complete with blood, brains, and skull fragments exiting the victim's head. This game is very bloody by the way.
...Why should I show you a three-hour playthrough of the last level of Black when I could just show you the final showdown?
Why show you me playing the final level of Black for three hours when I can show you the final showdown in the game and be done with it!
We finish the bridge level in this second part. Note: the last few minutes were cut short for some reason. Nevertheless, I finished the level.
I encounter a very odd glitch in Timesplitters: Future Perfect on the PS2.
In the second half of the dockyards level we basically blow up a bunch of shit! That's pretty much it!
We play through the second half of the longest fucking level in video game history! Will this stage never end!
This week, we look at a game bigger than Die Hard, 24, and Rambo put together. Black! Note: This is the fifth level of the game. While I've owned this game for years I've never finished it. However, due to an atrocious level select design I didn't realize this until I finished the level.
This series is a f*** barrel
