I hate Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends.  It seems a little odd that an adult would hate a kid's show, especially when most adults are usually watching things with more sophistication and class like Lizard Lick Towing or something, but yeah, I hate this fucking show.  You see, as my daughter and son are growing up, I'm allowing them to watch various educational shows on Nick Jr., Clubhouse Disney, and so on.

We don't explicitly stay away from shows like Adventure Time (which totally kicks ass, actually), but we would like for them to watch as many "educational" kids shows as possible.  Most of the time they're not as educational as they are annoying, but they still at least ATTEMPT to instill some sort of value, moral, or lesson that's family oriented and wholesome.  But not Sunny Patch.  Oh fuck no.

Sunny Patch's morals range from horribly misguided to nonsensical to non-existent.  It is literally the worst children's educational show I've had the displeasure of watching.  Right from the Nick Jr. website we have a generalized description:  "The Sunny Patch bugs are a curious collection of creatures in all shapes, colors, and personalities.  They teach kids to celebrate differences and work together to solve problems."

Every so often I'm subjected to cartoons.  Sometimes willingly, other times Clockwork Orange style.  Even still, there have been some episodes I know we've all wanted from these toons and I'm going to lay out a few ideas I've had recently.
