Top 10 Best Superhero Entrances
Everybody loves Superheroes. Selfless, brave individuals that go out of their way to help people using either a keen intellect or extraordinary abilities. One does wonder how a superhero become well liked when they hit the big screen or the small screen. Is it their sense of Truth and Justice? Is it because they beat the bad guys? I believe its because they know how to make a dramatic entrance. While most superheroes often stick to the shadows and try to hide before they can be seen. The public ones on the other hand do so much in their entrance alone that they hit the front pages. This Top list is opinion based and will have spoilers. I am willing to hear your opinion, positive or negative. Should your opinions be negative enough the torches and pitchforks are on your right and the lighters are on your left.
10. Robocop. I put this way low on the list because while at the time it was an epic entrance. There was more than one in the movie so it made it anticlimactic. There was the first entrance where he is finished being. It was all in his POV so no one could see what he looked like when he rose up and walked along his creators. The build up to this was excellent and mirrored a more positive version of the Frankenstein monster. When we all first saw this we only saw first the technicians working on him, because of how difficult it seemed we thought maybe this Robot would be all disfigured and hellish. Then came the second entrance when OCP was moving him into Detroit's Police station. It looked no different than moving a roommate in an apartment. There was even complaints by the chief himself before they and to an extent the audience saw which the titular hero passing by. We as the audience realize they weren't shocked by his grotesque appearance. They were in Awe at his sheer awesomeness. Then there is the third and final entrance. It's an entrance that introduced the public in the series to Robocop. It starts with an occasional robbery, everything was going smooth. Till the convenience store doors open and Robo appears. He doesn't even take his gun out and strolls in towards the robber, who by now is so scared, that he empties his giun on the invincible armor. Robo then just proceeds to throw him face first into a glass fridge and leave him there for the other authorities to pick him up.
9. The Crow: This movie like Robocop before it also has more than on entrance. Only unlike Robocop it had a more simplified and supernatural explination. The first entrance happens when Eric Draven (Played by the late Brandon Lee.) Busts out of his own coffin, in the middle of a thunderstorm screaming in pain to the sky. That image alone just shows how even death can't stop a superhero from making an entrance. What follows is just mere minutes after he gets out of the coffin. He goes home an suits up. Never have I once seen someone so badass while putting make up on and it helps when The Cure's Burn is playing in the background. Now the third entrance is a slight subversion of the public entrance. Since the first person that sees him in Crow attire not only gets killed in the first two minutes. To add even insult to injury The Crow even steals his Trench coat, thus completing the suit up. But the build up to it was even excellent. We first see Crow parkouring over rooftops, then swan diving into a dumpster laughing like a maniac, just before he meets his first Victim, Tin Tin. What makes this entrance even more awesome is when he advances on him, it shows in Tin's point of view that he is walking towards the burning Garbage can. This shot was so perfect that one glimpse and you would think that Crow was coming out of the fires of hell.
