Well the hallucinations of being really sick suck. Hallucinations that Eddie Murphy was driving a race car i built and the agony of being in a room sick and believing that you cant escape. The heat pounding against my body a terrible thing i wish on nobody besides maybe my worst enemy. The shivers that wont seize, The need for another cover but you cant get up with out falling to the ground on with the feeling of being naked in -38 degrees in the North pole while you watch Santa Clause in his house in front of a heater. Time at lest going three times slower then usual with only think keeping you company is the music blasting out of a speaker you hooked to your Mp3 player. Blink 182,The Velvet Underground, Steppenwolf, and worse of all me first and the gimme gimmes. Not saying Me First and The Gimme Gimmes is a bad band i actually quite like them.

Im That Music Guy reviewing music albums by day and stopping crime by night. Let's review Theory Of a Deadman's Scars and Souvenirs

Before i start heres some backstory behind me buying this album. Well there song "Bad Girlfriend" was the reason i bought the album that is probably my favorite song to be released in the last couple of years. I had been previously introduced to them through the game  "Indigo Prophecy" or "Fahrenheit" Even though i never beat the game i'll always remember the song "Santa Monica" when the main character has sex with his Ex-Girlfriend. Thats a fantastic song and a very difficult game. But as i dived deeper into the album i found out there was many awesome songs like "So Happy", "Not Meant To Be" , "All Or Nothing" , "Hate My Life" , And "End Of Summer". All the songs on this album could be used in a new movie. Thats how good this album is. I completely recommend this album for rock listeners and too anybody who has a good since of music.

I give it 4/5 not perfect but still really good...

Thanks for reading this and next week i'll review Asking Alexandria's Stand Up and Scream

Metal Impressions: Alestorm's “Back Through Time”

Greetings travellers, this is the Nightmare060 with something a little new. As many of you may or may not know, I LOVE Heavy metal music! I listen to it every day for hours on end and it's a huge part of my life. I always expressed my love for various albums in many ways, but biggest part that I fall down on is WHY I like it. I have almost zero knowledge of musical jargon. I could tell you what the instruments are and the difference between vocals, drums and guitar, but I can barely even describe how a riff is structured, let alone tell you about different time signatures and note changes.

Kanye West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy": In-Depth Review Article

NOTE: If you're looking for someone to make fun of this album, look elsewhere. Also, tl;dr ahead!

Long time user, first time reviewer here. My name is Kamunt Kurush. In the off chance someone reads this, yeah, this is a bit of a late review, but I've wanted to do something like this for quite awhile now. I've wanted to do a review of this album preferably in video format, but being a poor college student with a poor webcam, this will have to do.

Now, I should probably establish my bias right now--not only am I a fan of hip-hop, but I am also a huge fan of Kanye West, and have been ever since his debut album. If that's a turnoff for you, then you might not care for what I have to say. However, what I am is fair and balanced, and I actually mean that, unlike some other folks out there. Wink wink, nudge nudge. I will do everything in my power to try and remain fair.

Before writing this review, I made certain to watch Mues' review (over on Reviewtopia) of this album, and honestly, I wasn't a fan of the review, which motivated me that much more to write this review. How I will do this is review each song in a paragraph or so, give a letter grade (American style) and a sample of my favorite lyrics from the song for one reason or another. Enough beating around the bush, let's get started, shall we?

Awfully Appalling Albums: 'Ummagumma (Studio LP)' by Pink Floyd

If you've ever heard a Pink Floyd album, you know their usual style. Experimental, but not too distracting from the music use of sound effects, challenging and insightful lyrics set against the sonic textures provided by the trio of keyboards, drums and bass and electric guitars and occasional blues-influenced guitar solo or a jazzy keyboard improvisation.

Now forget about all that. Well, apart from the improvisations. These are plentiful on this album, and... well, they aren't up to par with 'Any Colour You Like' from The Dark Side of the Moon or the first few parts of 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond'. No: these are self-indulgent, not-quite-sure-what-to-do kinds of improvisations that you want to be gone as soon as it is possible. It's a bit like if King Crimson's infamous coda of 'Moonchild' ran for a length of a full LP. Thankfully, not two LPs, 'cause even though the the whole Ummagumma is compromised of two vinyl records, the first one is one of the greatest live albums of all time. I'm not kidding: Pink Floyd at that time were capable of doing amazing things in front of live audience, but when they have been brought back to the recording studio, it seems they transformed into an altogether different creature - a one that is don't know what to do and not sure where it is heading, as it is best demonstrated on the second part of the album, which is (you guessed it!) today's topic.

After committing Ummagumma. From left to right: Richard Wright saying to himself "What was I thinking?", David Gilmour being absolutely cross about the quality of the newest release, Roger Waters having a mild case of a Troll Face and Nick Mason... well, he's a drummer, so he doesn't give a crap.

How could any war be good for the Federation? War is horrible and should be avoided when it can. Billions died in the dominion war, how could anything good come from that?
All that is true. War is horrible and should be avoided and any loss of life is ultimately unnecessary however sometimes war (for one side) is unavoidable.

Album in Depth: Graceland by Paul Simon

Hi, I’m JotaKa. I’m a rocker by birth and grew listening to rock discs and long plays by the dozen. First of all, my Nightmare Revisited got Oct 2th Awesome Blog of the Week on TGWTG.com. Woohoo, mofos! I rulez!!! I mean… I’m really grateful with the recognition and even though I don’t like Paw Dugan all that much, I respect his opinion as a person, but not as a music reviewer: the top 50 just had one album that I liked, but most of them are in my “to look” list… I mean… where is Dark Side? Obviously he is more of an electro dude that I am, but… again, where is Dark Side? But I digress: thanks Paw!

So, anyway, I was in doubt what to do next, Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens or Graceland by Paul Simon. After asking some people around (most of all, my new friend NYUN), this one was the one that got most votes, so, I’ll start with Graceland. Since October 12th is a holiday here in Brazil and I think that 15th will also be a holiday, I may write the other one quickly, but that is just thinking out loud: I really think I can’t listen to Tea for the Tillerman ten to twelve times this week alone because I already heard it like a gazillion times.

Again, since this is not a recent album, heck, even with recent albums I do this, a little background is required:

The year is 1986… wait, is this the first eighties album I’m doing? Graceland? Well, in 1986, Platoon won the Academy Award for Best Film, Metallica’s Master of Puppets is released and Argentina won their second FIFA World Cup.

Album in Depth: The Final Frontier by Iron Maiden

Hi, I’m JotaKa. I’m a rocker by birth and grew listening to rock discs and long plays by the dozen. In the midst of the year, I had an idea of a site that would host many album reviews by me and a group of people that not only would try to cover the most albums possible but review the same albums, and thus creating multiple opinions under the same subject so that the reader could identify with an specific author with an similar preference and heed to find his interest. Or, let’s see, if someone else comes along, someone that loved the Mothers of Invention “Freak Out!” that I hated, and wants to make the album justice in his way, he could by posting a review of his opinion. My main idea was to base this site on conflicting opinions over the same subject. So, for that need, I need help from people that have different opinion than me. And for that, my friend Battousai will be helping me around.

The thing is he liked the idea and went right away into making the review of this album: The Final Frontier, by Iron Maiden. He is a huge fan of the Maiden, and I… well… I‘m not. I really liked the album “Killers” of 1981 and since that, Iron Maiden got much more heavy metal and chanced vocals from the not so good Paul Di’Anno to the believed to be star of the Iron Maiden best formation, Bruce Dickinson. I don’t like Bruce Dickinson singing in any projects and I loathed Tyranny of Souls.
