PK Reviews Ministry’s single # 2: Double Tap

PK’s
Hey guys, well I cant believe every concert I have gone to so far, I have found something to rant about… today is no different… however this is me showing my age! Kids at concerts!
Now before everyone decides that this is going to be a hate filled rant… please understand that I do have kids of my own and yet I’m STILL trying to decide when to take them to a concert. Granted I took my oldest to a Dora the Explorer concert/show when she was four… (YES… I DID SO WHAT?!?) Then I took her to her first hockey game when she was 6. My youngest I haven’t taken her to any concerts yet… but her first hockey game is coming soon! So it is really hard to judge.
HOWEVER! Last weekend I was at Gigantour 2012, for the people who have NO idea what I’m talking about it is a metal concert and there were no stands, there were no where to run if anything happened, and I was right up front! OH yeah I still love being up front at a concert, that is a experience that I don’t regret ever doing! Now while I was upfront there was a family there so mom dad, two kids.. both kids were under 14 I would be guessing. That to me seems like it would be a decent age to take a kid to a concert after all if you have them wearing ear plugs and you have the people around you protect them then it is all good. IF you can get the people around to protect them.
...PK’s Rock Rants Ep. #22 – Super Bowl Half time show 2012/Madonna

Hey folks, so I’m going to try a little different approach to this movie. There is a lot of people out there that are bashing the hell out of this movie, and think this franchise should die a horrible and slow death. If that was the case movies like the Hellraiser movie franchise would have died before it hit NINE FUCKING MOVIES!
Anyways, my thoughts on this movie is this. It is a fun movie to see and I enjoy the series a lot!
Yes there is a few spots that bugged me in it, and I don’t think there was enough actual plot just more action than anything, but over all this movie was entertaining for the most part.

PK’s Single Reviews – Ministry’s 99 Percenters

So after eight years “Uncle” Al is making a comeback to the music industry. After being a major fan of his for years, I have to say I’m pretty excited, that was until I heard the new single… well I guess it isn’t new it has been out since Dec, but still I’m catching up here folks!
So this single, is right up Ministry’s ally it is all about the “Occupy movement” On a side note.. did anyone notice how much people made a noise about SOPA and what not and got somewhere more than Occupy anything did? Just saying…anyways, this single is lacking something, oh.. yes.. BALLS! Balls that Ministry is known for, I mean “W” was a solid track, “Jesus Built my hot rod” as well as many other ones through the years. Ministry has been known to be right up front with their fans, and tell them like it is, which brings the political side of it. So this song starts off a bit slow, but gets into the the Ministry style they are well known for…. Then the lyrics start, and I’m sorry but every time I hear this I think of Sesame Street… why? Well here is the first couple of lines:
“99 percenters… 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,99 percenters” And the last bit repeats a couple of times. I cant help but thinking of the same Sesame Street song.
