Have you ever had that villain you loved? In a movie, in a cartoon, in a video game? Well?

...I'm still waiting for you answer... oh, right, this is a blog. Sorry.

Anyway, I love villains. They're usually more interesting than the good guys. But sometimes - just sometimes, they're also  ineffective. Crappy. Lousy, if you prefer. And in a series of blogs I hope lasts a loooooooong time, I hereby present to you the lousy villains we adore!

THE LOUZY VILLINS WEE ADORE

...- Prepare for trouble!

- And make it double!

- To protect the world from devastation!

- To unite all people within our nation!

- To denounce the evils of truth and love!

- To extend our reach to the stars above!

- Jessie!

- James!

- Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light!

- Surrender now or prepare to fight!

- Meowth. That's right!

Oh yes, it's the Rocket Trio!

For those who don't know (seriously, is there someone who doesn't know who these three are?), Jessie, James and Meowth are the Rocket Trio, a team of bad dudes from the anime Pokemon. Their only goal is to steal strong pokemon. Usually, Ash's Pikachu. Why? Well, because Pikachu is strong, I guess.

Jessie (the chick with the red weird hair), is an orphan who had a tough childhood. She joined Team Rocket, was teamed up with James and Meowth, and there ya go. Jessie, master of crappy disguises and the self-proclaimed leader of the trio. She has a fondness for snake-type and poisonous Pokemon.

James (the dude with the blue weird hair) grew up amongst aristocrats and was for some time engaged to some chick. Against his will. So he ran off and joined Team Rocket. So there ya go, James, jack-of-all trades and crossdressing aficionado. Most of his Pokemon are grass-type. My favorite of the three, I love the way he tries so hard to look dashing and poetic, but still ends up dressing like a female nurse. With pride.

Meowth (the weird cat with a gold nugget on his forehead), was part of a gang of Meowths, catlike Pokemon, and fell in love with a female Meowth that liked humans. Wanting to take the female Meowth for himself and have a lot of little Meowths, he taught himself how to stand in two feet and speak human. That didn't work, he got heartbroken, and he joined the team. So there ya go, Meowth, sculptor and crook.

The team itself started pretty well. The attacked a Pokemon Center to steal some wounded Pokemon, and stumbled upon the heroes.

Believe it or not, they started out as intimidating villains. Also, plain awesome.

...yeah, it didn't take long for them to become goofs.

They fought Ash and his Pikachu over and over again, and that would usually ended up with them zapped by a thunderbolt and being hurled into the skies, while screaming something along the lines of "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Hahaha! Get it? Rocket? Well, they would always returns, thus becoming persistent to Wile E. Coyote levels. They would also always do their little intro.

James wasn't feeling too well that day...

Why do I love them, you ask? They were fun, lovable crooks who weren't necessarily evil, they were just doing their job. Rather poorly, but still. Also, they had their big heroic moments later on, having helped Ash save the world very often. After all, their goal was to protect the world from devastation!

OF CO... wait, what?

So here I state. Jessie, James, Meowth. You may be lousy villains, but we still adore you. And you guys, why don't you tell me in the comments what you think of these three? Or about some other lousy villains you adore?
