The deadline has passed, entries submitted, youtube profiles updated, and we'll be finding out tonight which videos made it to the finals. Now, I've watched all of the entrants and I have to say that everyone did wonderfully. What I don't appreciate, are the negative comments some entrants have been getting from fans of other entrants. Most of these comments aren't even backed up with any explanation. Saying just "this sucks" isn't going to get you any intelligence brownie points. If you want to critique, back it up. "This sucks because you didn't use a joke," while not eloquent, is still better than the latter.  

 This is supposed to be something fun! This isn't life or death. And even if we don't get a gig out of the contest, we can STILL make videos. That's the beauty of the internet. You can just go ahead and do whatever you want and post it. Someone out there WILL watch it, I can guarantee you that. 

So, let's encourage each other and have fun with this!
