I am going to make use of this blog system to write a multi-part series refering to the title. Remember, these are strictly my and Jesus' opinions, and they reflect only our beliefs and the beliefs of the saved/chosen people.
Without boring you with an introduction to how awesome this will be, I will just show you how awesome it IS.
1. Bon Jovi

Who are they? - They are an 80's hair metal band with a few catchy songs and a wardrobe that would make castmembers of "Cats" cringe with embarrasment.
Why they suck - Bon Jovi came around during an extremely powerful time for metal music, with Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and the like. So you can see how they, by comparison, were 7th rate even in their own time. However, luckily for them, bands like Motley Crue were also popular, so they got there right in the niche of time. The real reason why they suck? Over a course of 20 years, they slowley transformed from a glam metal band, into a country band. Also, the name of the band is fucking Bon Jovi.
Why People Still like them - Living on a prayer/Wanted dead or alive. There is not really much else to say. These are the two songs that have carried Bon Jovi through the last 20 years, and the zombies - I mean fans, go crazy everytime they hear these songs. No matter what, these songs will always be on Jovi's setlist, until the day they die. Actually, they might as well be the ONLY songs on the setlist! As far as I'm concerned, a Bon Jovi concert is Living on a prayer, intermission, Wanted.
During the last few years though they have introduced a few more songs, like the one about them doing it their way and the one about building a house or something.
Thank you for reading. The next part will be Simple Plan.
Also, if people like to listen to them and you don't, it doesn't mean the band is "shitty".. I dislike screamo and emo music but doesn't mean they're bad. I listen to any music that sounds good
