Jordan

I know this has probably been done a hundred times before, but I just think there is a couple suggestions for Nostalgia Critic for Future Reviews...

Captain N : The Game Master

Seriously, give a kid a zapper controller, and team him up with an "alleged" character from Castlevania, and throw in Kid Icarus (Not PIT you nintendo fanboys) and Mega Man who sounds like a cross between Kermit the Frog and a Chain Smoker.

Legends of the Hidden Temple

NC talked about THE BEST children's game show, why not talk about one of the strangest, this was at the time when everyone wanted to be Indiana Jones, or they wanted to be on Carmen Sandiego, but can't comprehend geography. Not to mention they had "Temple Guards" who I am SURE they are pedophiles.

and finally

Yu-Gi-Oh

That is more up for "That Dude in the Suede" considering it's anime related, but  an actuall Nostalgia Critic on this would be fantastic (I mean he did do one for "The Book Launch" for Harry Potter). Why not to one for another hyper unrealistic cartoon intended to get parents to spend money on tiny pieces of cardboard?

1. AWW man, I remember Legends of the Hidden Temple. Good (yet creepy) times...
2. Again, he's the NOSTALGIA Critic. Yu-Gi-Oh! (although perfect, if it was 10 years older) is more suited for high schoolers...I'm pretty sure the ThatGuy's in his 20's.
3. Captain N's a good THOUGHT, but I don't think it was AS popular when it was new, as some of the other stuff he's done...
4. Back to Legends of the Hidden Temple: there's not much to SAY about it.
ALSO- if he were in the market for old Nickelodeon game shows, why not GUTS? I mean, they're Remaking it! Isn't that good enough for a review.
Nahh... because, again, there's not enough to Say about it...

(Yeah, I just asked myself a question...Then Answered it...)

Just a note. Though ThatGuy is the NC and all, it doesn't mean that the character, "The Nostalgia Critic" did one for the book launch for Harry Potter. He simply put up a video of him being there, as the character. Thus, 'twas not a review.

Films such as the Barney movie, Warriors of Virtue and Revenge of the Nerds might be sutible for the Nostalgic Critic to review.

I'll pass it on...

I wouldn't mind lending my hand to Captain N, The Game Master. Doug and I remember that show pretty well in all its cheap, strangely surreal glory (Simon Belmont being a metrosexual, Megaman sounding like a chain smoking munchkin, and Kid Icarus just generally being an annoying little twerp -- really, I hated that guy -- prick). We still do a pretty keen impression of Mother Brain (who looked like my Grandma after improperly applying her lipstick). I'll pass that along.

As for Legends of the Hidden Temple -- we never saw it. So no. smilies/grin.gif

As for Yu-Gi-Oh, we're both going to have to politefully decline because reviewing Yu-Gi-Oh would require us to actually WATCH Yu-Gi-Oh. And there ain't enough booze in the universe for that. Well, that and its way too recent.

Interesting...

Movie-brat: "KiiiIIIIiiids IncooooOOOOooorporated! K! I! D! S!" Jesus Christ, I thought I was the ONLY one on the planet who remembered that show. So much so that I feared I just imagined it. Doug doesn't remember it at all. He was like 5 years old at the time. But now I know I'm not crazy.

ThatPuppetGuy: Doug HATES Doug's First Movie and anything having to do with Doug (cause kids in Jr. High kept comparing him to that show cause of the first name. So expect a no. Jetsons MAYBE... but we remember it being very boring and unpleasant. So I don't know. Big Top Pee Wee? Maybe. We DID see that as kids. Double Dragon we never saw. Not sure if we're interested. Even if we did say yes to any of these, we're set for the next ten episodes or so, so you couldn't expect them for a long while.

AndThatsWhyMommyCriesAtNight: Killer Clowns from Outer Space is the reason I couldn't sleep at night as a child. But Doug never saw it. So I'd have to try to convince him to do it. Again, see above statement: if yes, it could be a good long while.

Horray, I kinda got a "Possible" out of Three!

This is the happiest day of my week!

----

Anyway, I kinda figured "ThatGuy" would've been pissed off at Doug too, hell Imagine if your name was "Urkel" and you grew up in the early 90s (yeah I know NO ONE has the name Urkel but just imagine), you'd be pissed off too.

Too Bad "The Other Guy", you missed out on ACTUAL CRUCIFIXION on Nickelodeon! They actually threw tennis balls at a crucifix, and the losing team gets only packages of NesQuik and Ring Pops (OH JOY SUGAR, JUST WHAT I WANTED AS A CONSOLATION PRIZE - CAVITIES!)

Well, I found out about that show on YouTube so I thought Doug would remember the show, that's why I suggested it as a Nostalgic Critic review. But if Doug doesn't want to do it then maybe you could do a review of the show instead That Other Guy. Oh, and have you had any trouble getting the Kids Incorporated theme song out of your head by any chance? It's just that, everytime I hear the song it tries to stay in my head.
