Top 12 "Ghetto" things in my school back in the day.

Looking back, I wrote a list a long time ago  with things wrong with my school. At the time, I was in 9th grade and my High School was going under constructon. I mainly wrote this list to inform everyone on how "Ghetto" my school really is. For those of you who never heard the term ghetto, it pretty much means cheap.

So with that in mind, my school has improved on some of these things, but not all.

Enjoy the top 12 "ghetto" things list:

1. When you push return on the vending machine, it dosent give your dollar back, instead, it gives you two nickles. Sometimes, it dosent give your money back at all!

2. DuctTape holds up the walls.

3. The Lunch Food sucks, I swear, I think they robbed the lunches from homeless people and homeless shelters.

4. The Small pencils in gym were stolen from a golf course.

5. Our Gym is our cafeteria.

6. The cheese is so frozen on the sandwiches, it melts...

7.We use sticky notes for temporary ID"s.

8. THERE IS NO HOT FOOD IN THE CAFETERIA. On some days there usually is but there is never enough and it runs out fast.

9. The school turns the heat up when it is hot, and not when it is cold, THEY TURN THE AIR ON WHEN IT IS WINTER.

10. There are no windows , so when it gets hot, we cant open a window! How great is that! (Edit: what I mean by no windows, is that most of the classrooms are towards the center of the building. There are classrooms that are on the side of the building which have at least one or two windows.)

11. Expired Moldy Turkey Sanwiches<---- I think that one speaks for itself. That is one item they served to us at lunch

12. The Nurse dosent do anything. I come in there with a major headache and she gives my a bandaid to put on my forehead.

If these are all true, then this is indeed the most ghetto school, or it has to be high on there. Why exactly do they turn the heat on during the summer? What sense does that make?

Believe me LordVonQuack, I am not making this up.

I do not really know the exact reason they do it, but I heard something about they arent allowed to turn the AC on until a certain month.

I find this so... strange. I mean what logical person actually uses the heat during the summer and the AC during the winter unless they are actually trying to kill the children. Wait! Does your principal have a long beard, a turban, and say "Death to America" alot? I think we may have just found Bin Laden...

But really, no windows? That's like concrete prison. That has to be the most depressing place in the world to be.

if ducttape were holding the walls together, they'd shut down the school for building violation code whatever. and im sure there has to be some windows, for safety reasons. so if this is a real school, should be shut down soon

Hey ive seen duct tape on the walls for whatever reason.I mainly used that for comedic purposes only. Keep in mind that I wrote this list back in 9th grade which was my first year of high school and these were the main problems I encountered at the school. Now the school has improved most of these things. Back then I still doubt it would have got shut down cause im pretty sure that area had some of these problems too.

I forgot to edit this actually, what I meant by no windows was that most of the classrooms are in the center of the school. What I mean by this is the classes that are on the sides of the school have windows, but when you walk in, most of the classes are centered towards the center of the building. I was just trying to make a point that for the classes in the center or classes without windows, it gets pretty hot in the room even with the door open.
