Awesome.

That's all I have to say.

Sin City gets a 4.5 out of 5.

Nahh, you didn't think I'd let you get out that easy, did you?

No, I want to spend my time describing in great detail how deep and amazing this film is.

Hah!! Yeah right!

Alright, let's do this thing:

Basically, the film centers around 3 different stories, told in 4 different parts.

The first is about an old cop (Bruce Willis, awesom-ely) who has to stop a freak from molesting a little girl. As creepy as this may seem, pretty much all of it is pure "cool-ness", and is just friggin' awesome. But I do wish it was a bit longer....

The second is about a guy who sleeps with a (quote/un-quote) "Goddess", (warning: Female nudity ensues) and wakes up to find her dead. He then goes on a hunt to look for her killer, but along the way finds out something very...unnatural...about the murderer.

Marv (the protagonist) is played Masterfully by Mickey Rourke, and (as every single person on set had said in the "Behind-the-Scenes" featurette of the DVD...Which is, by the way, dezefinitely worth checking out) he was completely and utterly Born to play the character.

Our third story is about an hour long, so don't watch it if you get bored easily. This time around, we follow a guy who follows some idiot out for a 'Night of partying'. He proceeds to follow them into a city ruled by Prostitutes, and helps them defend their land. This one gets really interesting, and part of it's by Quentin Tarantino, so you Know it's gonna have a really solid ending.

Some of the scenes Really kick ass, and all in all, it's definitely worth watching the full hour.

....I'm going to keep the final story a secret, it's a pretty awesome surprise. Yeah, it gets a bit creepy at certain times...But it's still great.

Also--Make sure you stay for the prologue and epilogue: They both star an unknown character called "The Salesman" who helps women kill themselves. His catchphrase, along with his disguise in the epilogue, are frickin' sweet...

"So, what's so special about these weird stories, Ghost?"

Well, they're completely Packed with action and hot girls up the (don't make me say it) and they're also based on Frank Miller's (yes, That Frank Miller...Even Tarantino bows in his way...[Again, see "Behind-the-Scenes" on the DVD.]) fantastic Graphic Novels.

Also, the stories (especially the introduction, but no real story, of "The Salesman") give way to a highly-expected (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458482/) line of sequels. Which is AWESOME.

Also, although he won't be in the second if it is released, Bruce Willis said he would Definitely sign on to reprise Hartigan if they asked him to. Awesome!!

In fact, speaking of "Awesome!!" there's something you should know about this movie.

And it's Awesome!

What I mean is that once, at least every minute or so, you WILL say "That is awesome!!"

I'm not joking... This IS the awesome-est movie I've ever seen.

And, in the world of Sin City, "Awesome-est" IS a word.

And that's AWESOME...

So, maybe I wasn't serious earlier...Or right now...

...But, yeah, I was serious about that "4.5 out of 5."

My favorite part about the movies and the novels are that they aren't just bloody mindless action. They have an interesting story with them that venture into mature intrigue other people wouldn't touch (especially on TV.) They are closer to real life than any live action Disney show. Of course I guess anything would be closer to real life.
And yeah that child molester creeped me out 0_o (especially because he was orange.)

he was orange

He was actually yellow (seeing as how the title of the chapter is "That Yellow Bastard".
And, yeah, I suppose I did foget to mention the gritty-yet-realistic feel of the movie...
Oh well, I have a pet peeve of editing old work, excluding spelling/punctuation errors...
