Nice review with great comedic timing. Seeing a fellow nostalgia chick who remembers this stuff makes me happy. We really aren't THAT rare, srsly.
I played Jill of the Jungle to death as a kid & young teen in the early 90s. My parents refused to buy me an NES for some reason, so I was all about rockin' the various DOS shareware games. (Commander Keen was another favorite.)
Looking forward to your contest entry. I may make one myself.

Very VERY nice review! I have to say I'm quite impressed. Of all the "intentional ripoffs" I'd call you my favourite.
Simple, to the point, and honest. Could use a wee bit more funny, and the cursing and whatnot seemed a tad forced, but aside from that, excellent work! Good luck with the contest!

I'm going to try out for this Chick gig so with me much luck!! I'm going to start working on it very soon!! I'm going to try and improve my funny I suppose since that was mentioned... but honestly, I'm not ever sure what's funny to other people. But hopefully I can deliver!

I don't think it's that we're rare... it seems most of us are lurkers... At any rate it's nice to know I'm not alone haha.

Now that I think about it...as enthused as I am about prospect of reviewing, I don't think I'll be able to pull it off. I've never edited a vid of Nostalgia Critic caliber before. Plus, my imagination is of a much higher quality than the recording equipment I own, lol.
I'd still like to create something, but it would probably be best if I worked at my own pace, without deadlines. We'll see.
No worries though. After seeing your Jill review, along with the enthusiastic response to the contest from other like minded females, there's no doubt the Nostalgia Chick search will be a success.
