An unfortunate trend in many articles on this blog and The Founding Fields is that, beyond Black Library books, many articles about the setting tend to be negative. Looking back, the vast majority of codex reviews have been negative or moderate, with few times when anything has been truly praised with any great enthusiasm. So, in order to correct that somewhat, this article is going to look into why Warhammer 40,000 works as a setting. This will specifically look into just why the universe is so great, and it can ultimately be put down to one thing: The Batman Effect. Something it does even better than the caped crusader himself.

Anyone who has actually looked up Batman, or most superheroes for that matter, will know they've run the gambit in terms of themes, styles and presentation. The character has had such a varied number of artists, authors and creators working on him for so long that he can be molded into just about any story and someone, somewhere will still find a way to make it work.

Greetings, folks, and welcome to another installment of “Spinoffs I Wish Would Happen.” Every so once in a while, while watching a movie or a television show, I stumble upon a character, and wish that some focus would be put into their story, instead of the story being told. Now don't get me wrong, these are more likely from movies that I thoroughly enjoy, but I also see some potential spinoff material in the works.

It's time to tackle the streets as we cruise our way through an underground criminal organization!  We have a souped-up car at our disposal, and we're going to use it to outrun, outmaneuver, and outright destroy the baddies coming our way!  Let's go crazy!

Three days ago if I had heard the name Bluth it would of sounded like a candy bar form the U.K. Arrested Development is slowly become my favorite TV comedy because of the outstanding performances and also the hilarious writing that has become what I expect every episode. The reason this show is great is because of the cast that I fell is up there with some great TV casted actors. Jason Bateman plays Micheal Bluth which is a perfect role for him cause he just has to play a smart ass dad and he pulls it off. David Cross however steals the show everytime, his character Tobias Funke is outrages and weird but also the funniest character on the show. A young Micheal Cera plays as George Micheal who is the son to Jason Batemans  character and that relationship works great and feels like a true father son relationship. Other great characters on this show are Buster played by Tony Hale and the two parents George and Lucille Bluth played by Jessica Walters and Jeffery Tambor. Lucille Bluth is cold hearted and mean with very like shits giving to even her kids, she is great and Jessica Walters plays that character perfectly which is why I think she is great in Archer as well as this. Tony Hale as Buster is funny as well as bizzar. Buster is a weird man who lives with his mother and has issues with leaving her side which worked for Lucille cause of her massive ego. There relationship is funny 24/7, George Bluth however hates I think just about everyone in the show except his grandkids George Micheal and Maeby Funke played by Alia Shawkat. This show is fantastic and I my have only seen half of season 1 but trust me when I say I will not stop watching this show anytime soon.

Hi TGWTG, and welcome to spectrum-pulse, where I take a deeper, more in-depth look into music, movies, art, and culture.

Today, in my 251st review, I talk about Chris Brown's marginal improvements and how they don't stop him from getting blown off the stage on his own album.
