That's right! Muppet Babies!

The show aired from the mid-80's to the early 90's with syndication. It followed the adventures of the baby versions of the Muppets who were watched over by "Nanny," who we never got to see because of the awful and over used cliche' of only being able to see the bottom half of the adult in the movie. That is just the animators being FREAKING LAZY!

The cast included all the muppet regulars Kermit, Piggy, Fozzy, Gonzo and more. It also had the ridiculously unnessary set of twins Scooter and Skeeter.Scooter

Scooter didn't need to be in the show, who cares about scooter? When did he ever do anything memorable or funny in any of the Muppet's history! Then they went and made twin sister for him, whom we have never seen in anything else since. She was obviously put in there so Piggy wouldn't be the only girl, and she was the exact opposite of her awkward, nerdy bother. That gave us another overly used, horrible cliche' about twims: "We look the same, but we're really different!" HAHAHA!...jeez, kill me now.

Despite all my criticizims, the show was alot of fun to watch. Unlike the Rugrats, these babies were actually entertaining and didn't exagerrate on drama over cookies, it was just about toddlers having fun. The best parts of the show was all the allusions they made to other films and shows like the Phantom of the Opera and Indiana Jones. With these, they'd insert actual footage from the movies with the babies running around. The show had them seemlesly going from one imagination adventure to another, lots of fun.

One thing I have to point out is this picture:

The Muppet Babies on a rocking horse waving

That is just asking for an accident to happen. And they did it during the theme song on everyshow! I'm suprised no one got hurt!

So, (of course) I'll end this review just like animal did on the show: GOOOO BYE-BYE!

I loved Muppet Babies too. And FYI you actually see Nanny's face once! I forget the eposode but it was dark in their room with a thunderstorm raging outside. Nanny walks in and the camera slowly pans up to her face just as the lightning flashes giving you like a second to see her face.
