Welcome, once again, to yet another Top 11 by Daffy. Why top 11? ‘Cause I'm weird like that.
Today's list is all about the Top 11 Villains in 90s Kid's Shows. You know, I may be spending too much time on the dark side of the fight. Maybe the heroes deserve a chance. Hmm? Well, that's something to think about.
Anyway, as I've said in the past (and will, no doubt, say again in the future), this list probably has a lot of holes in it. These were the villains that I could think of. If you think you can do better, go ahead and try.
These were the bad guys who were always terrorizing the good guys every weekday afternoon. And, in some cases, every Saturday morning.
I'm, again, going to stay away from some of the more obvious guys. I'll just give them some...
Honorable mentions: Batman's Joker, Superman's Lex Luther, Spider-Man's Green Goblin, and all those other obvious super hero villains.
To be honest, the first two on the list are more bullies then villains. But, whatever.
I'd also like to thank the person who gave me the idea for this. You know who you are...
Enough with the small talk. Let's get to the Top 11 90s Kid's Show Villains.
11) Angelica Pickles (Rugrats)
You remember this little brat, right? She's the girl that was always pushing around the babies in Rugrats for no good reason. She even ordered around her own parents! If I would have been her father, I would have said, "That's it, you no good, spoiled rotten brat! You're grounded until you're my age. How do you like that?" She was pure evil in little girl form, and that's why she's number 11.
10) Roger Klotz (Doug)
Talk about your generic bully. Roger Klotz was the one who was always giving Doug (no, not That Guy With The Glasses) a hard time. Through out the Nick years, I don't remember him being nice once. But, because Disney has to destroy everything it gets its hands on, they turned him into a more "caring" Klotz. This is just one more reason why Disney's Doug sucked major balls.
9) Don Karnage (Tale Spin)
I don't expect anyone to remember this guy. He was one of the main villains in TailSpin. He led the Air Pirates on their mission to...um... steal all the airplane cargo in the world. How diabolical. The only thing I don't like about this guy is his accent. What the hell is he saying? Oh, well. He was still evil. And he had the ego to prove it.
8) Susan "Mandark" Astronominov (Dexter's Lab)
Yeah, that's right. His real name is Susan. I'll give you a minute to stop laughing. ..... Are you done? Good. This guy was Dexter's nemesis that always tried to destroy his lab. He also had a major crush on Deedee, Dexter's sister. But the most annoying thing about him was his laugh. It was a major gimmick on the show. So much so, that there was a whole episode revolving around his laugh. I guess they were pressed for stories in that one.
7) Flintheart Glomgold (Duck Tales [woo hoo!])
The villain in Duck Tales, this guy was always out to... um... What does he want to do? I can't remember anything he wanted. I think it had something to do with being richer then Scrooge. But, how does that make you a villain? Wow. Nostalgia Critic was right. Nobody remembers this show after the theme song.
6) Mozenrath (Aladdin TV Series)
Okay, here's another villain whose motive I'm not entirely sure about. But, just look at him. He has a flying eel as a pet. He just has to be evil. I also seem to remember that his entire right arm is skeletal. How the hell does that happen? Maybe that's why he's evil.
5) Ebon (Static Shock)
In my opinion, this is a really good show that just wasn't appreciated. It's all about this kid who one day, when he's at some gang thing, gets electrical powers because of some chemical explosion. The other people who were present that night also get powers. Ebon, a gang boss, gets shadow powers. He uses them to rob banks and the like. So, he's a basic criminal. But, he looks awesome. That's why he's on this list. And the fact that he is a legitimate reason why people would be afraid of their own shadow.
4) Shendu (Jackie Chan Adventures)
This is one mean looking dragon. His goal was to, you guessed it, take over the world. (Of course!) Fortunately, the archaeologist Jackie Chan and his niece and uncle are here to keep him at bay. One really cool thing about this guy is that, for the first season, he was stuck as a statue. So, he used a gang called the Dark Hand to get some magic talismans in order to free him. Even though he was a statue, he could talk and control these guys called the Shadow Chan. He was a bad ass even when he couldn't even move.
3) Mr. Hitcher (Tiny Toons)
You remember this guy from the Tiny Toon special ‘How I Spent My Summer Vacation.' I know he wasn't a major villain for most of the show, but he's just so awesome. He was the first chainsaw wielding maniac we were able to see without our parents watching over our shoulder in case we wet ourselves with fear. He had the ability to be scary and funny at the same time (I just love it when he chases Plucky). So, he definitely deserves a spot on this list.
2) NegaDuck (Darkwing Duck)
No doubt about it, NegaDuck was the evilest villain on Darkwing Duck. He committed all types of crimes. Robbery, attempted murder, and he even took candy from babies. That fiend!!!! He was the perfect adversary for our ducky hero. And he really knew how to dress. (Note: NEVER watch TV with your mom.)
And the number one villain of the 90s is....
1) Dr. Claw (Inspector Gadget)
This is truly the embodiment of villainy. He totally had everything a super villain needs: deep, scratchy voice; evil plot to take over the world; dark motif; even the villainous cat. One of the only gripes I have about this guy is the fact that we never got to see his face. How the heck does he look? Is he black? White? Does he have a mustache? A beard? A goatee? Is he even a man? Well, we never got to see him because he was never caught. He always outsmarted Inspector Gadget (but, come on, even a monkey could do that) and that is why he is the number 1 villain from the 90s.
And thus is the list of the Top 11 Villains from 90s Kid's Shows. I hope you've enjoyed this edition of Daffy's Top 11.
I'm Daffy.
"And I will get you next time, Gadget!"
To answer your question, he looks kind of Rupert Everett.
As for the other shows you mentioned, I always felt that Sheer Kahn and The Beagle Boys were more villainous in Tail Spin and Duck Tales, respectively. But, it's your list.
And Angelica was definitely an annoying little brat. I actually remember one episode where she actually sued your parents. Although I would imagine they wouldn't any of that on television shows today, because children "might get ideas." Roll Eyes.
Anyways, great list, Daffy.
I'm Tina, and I'm an insane person.
#10: Zim. i kinda consider him a villian...
# 9: Mindy from Billy and Mandy. well, why not? she`s a brat like Angelica.
# 8: Ozai or Azula, i`d pick Azula cause she`s SCARY!
# 7: Dr. Drakken
# 6: Mr. Crocker
# 5: Professor Calamitous... or however u spell his name.
# 4: Queen Vexas of the Cluster... or an enemy on that show.
# 3: Father from the KND.
# 2: Aku-Aku of Samuri Jack.
# 1: Vlad, Undergrowth ( with or without Plant Queen. ),Nocturne, or Vortex. ( u decide. )
Oh and for what its worth Daffy, I also remember Don Karnage and his terrible accent.
but right now, u can do it.
Also, OH GOD, Jackie Chan Adventures !!
The Nostalgia is huting my Brain!! (is that Normal?)
Ghostie!!!! Where have you been? Does your comment mean you hate Jackie Chan Adventures or like it?
a) Quit callin' me 'Ghostie'. I know that it's in some reference to Some old cartoon character (I can't recall exactly who, I'm a bit off today...)
b) I like it, it's just very Nostalgic to me, but in a bad way. Hopefully you know what I mean by that, 'cause I sure as sh*t don't.
c) It's called 'Vacation'.
Hell, man. What's your problem? I'm just trying to be friendly.
Sorry if you read it like that, but I didn't write it in an un-friendly tone.
That's what I hate about talking on the Internet. You have to assume someone's tone, which Can be misinterpreted.
No, but seriously, don't call me Ghostie...

And who could forget Don Karnage and that extremely foreign accent. I remember his airship looked like a big purple penguin, and it blew up in almost every episode......must've had a great mechanic.
