Welcome to another edition of Awful Movies. A quick note about this blog, movies listed are not neccesarily horrible with no good qualities. Awful is a subjective term, and should be taken as such. Movies I put in this blog are simply bad, the level of which varies. So don't get too up in arms if I list a movie that you believe to be decent.

1) Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Now, when I tell people I hate the third Terminator film, I always get the same reaction "Terminator 3 wasn't a bad movie!", to which I say "No it wasn't, but it sure was a shitty sequel". Let me explain. Terminator 2 is what I consider to be one of the, if not the, best movie of all time. It is a near flawless film, with both brawl and brains. Here, we get mostly brawn. The action is big, loud and violent enough to be considered good, but it just does not have a smart story. It is not very faithful to the second movie, and renders everything the characters fought for in the second movie meaningless and teaches us that "There is a future but what we make", destroying the theme from the first two movies as well. I try not to make these blogs too long, and I have a lot to say, so expect a full review or rant sometime in the future.

2) Dorm Daze 2

I honestly have no idea why I watched this movie on demand one day. I'm left even more clueless as to why I watched the whole thing. I have never seen Dorm Daze 1, and can't imagine it could be much worse than this. A bunch of horny college kids are on a cruise, and have all kinds of crazy sexual adventures. They are not funny sexual adventures, but they are sexual adventures none the less. I implore you to watch American Pie instead.

3) American Pie Presents: Band Camp

Not this American Pie! Fuck. The fourth american pie film. Fuck that. This movie isn't in the same league. The first American Pie Spin-Off, this film follows Stiflers younger brother as he is sent to Band Camp by "The Sherminator" for causing tomfoolery at school. Lucky for him, Band Camp is full of hot counselors and plenty of sexual endeavours to be had. In the end, Stifler saves the camp and learns a valuable lesson about treating others badly. Bullshit! Honestly, this is almost like a Disney film with sex. The tired plot, character interactions and cheap gags all point to a DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie), if not for the nudity and sex jokes. It fails at pleasing the teen audience and should does not deserve to be related to the first three movies.
