00frodo's Awesome Video Games Volume 2

Joshua Smith

Welcome to the second volume of awesome video games.

1) God of War (Playstation 2)

This game kicks ASS. This game is what I believe to be as good as an action game can get. The controls are perfect, the gameplay is ruthlessly fast and the visuals are breathtaking. My only complaint is that the bosses are lacking in number, something that was fixed in the second game. The only people I would not recommend this game too are the squeamish and easily offended, as there is alot of blood and nudity.

2) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney (DS)

Phoenix Wright is a game in which you play as a defense attorney and, well... defend your clients. What makes this game truly special besides the fact that it is a court sim, is the story and characters. Every character is unique and likable in their own way. The story is also deep and intriguing and only gets more so in further installments, particularly the third. If you have not tried this game and have a DS, buy is ASAP. If you can find it.

3) Trauma Center: Under the Knife (DS)

Much like phoenix wright, this is an original concept that had not been tried too often before. Trauma Center is a surgery sim, and a good one at that. Set in the near future, a new virus is let loose and you and your team of nurses and surgeons must stop it. The one problem I have with this game is that sometimes it is too damn hard. The difficulty raises exponentially with each new chapter, and you will find yourself sweating just trying to keep up. Or maybe I just suck. Who knows?

Thanks for reading and comment if you wish. Also, stayed tuned for Awful Video games and another top 10 coming later today. Until next time.

Good call on all three games here.
My personal favourite of these would be GoW. The game does indeed KICK ASS.

Caps Lock is absolutely necessary to describe GoW.
