Light. Light from Death Note is a fucking douchebag. I know "He is trying to make the world a better place!". No. Fuck him. Send him to the deepest pits of hell to suffer in agony for all eternity.

This motherfucker is so fucked up in his fucking head it is not even fucking funny. Sorry. I just read chapter 58 in the manga. What a maniacal bastard. I may take this down if I don't put anything insightful in here later. I'm just too pissed at this 6'0'' motherfucker to put anything of coherence or relevance here as of now. Sure, I could go on about how the theory of utopia is unobtainable and Light is a fucking douche for going to the lengths he does to attain an impossible concept. But, maybe I will add that later. My point has been made. Light is an asshole.

I feel bad for you dude: it took you 58 chapters to realise this guy is a douchebag. I knew just by looking at him. And at the sight of the first volume, I also knew that this was going to grow into a shitload of flaming goat piss with army of underaged fangirls and emo-boys following.

It took me 7 chapters to tell he was a douche. But I didn't hate him until he killed a certain someone.

I knew immediately he was a douchebag. They play him off as some tortured genius, but it you watch the first episode of the anime, you see that the rest of the class he's in has about the combined intelligence of a drooling monkey. Not hard to be called smart when the bar's been lowered so much.

Actually, Light CAN'T suffer in hell for all eternity, because anyone who uses the Death Note can't go to either heaven or hell. >_> Yeah I know I'm a nerd. I also hate Light for killing a "certain someone." However, I hate the mangakas for it even more. Lowered the entertainment value of their series two-fold right there.

Speaking of which, has anyone read the new manga from the makers of Death Note? It's called "Bakuman" and it's about two kids who strive to become mangaka. It's pretty interesting, but not as much as Death Note. Also, the characters aren't nearly as interesting. A great character like L does only come around once in a blue moon, though.

I loves KIRA!

Reason 1: I would do the exact same thing. Conquer chicks, use them up, throw them away. kill off all criminals + people i just feel shouldn't live.

Reason 2: He is a cocky bastard... i just like that on people go figure.

Reason 3: Hes Gay. LLOOLL, Right before a certain person dies (LO) L ... rain, foot rubbing, the staring. Did you see that seen with a straight eye? Bet not. He scores one for the team. I mean have you ever seen a hit like deathnote have a doubtfully straight character. (You could argue CodeGeass but Leoluche only has a gay name lololol)

I think i settle my case. I also like matsuta for his ingenious ingenuity and how he turns around on the last chapter making him the one who deals lights lethal wounds.
