Download This: Icy Tower

Now as you can clearly see it lulls you in a sense of simple, since the title screen consists of a remixed version of that song from Oh Brother Where art thou? and has characters that consist of a gnome, a ghost of a gnome, and the cruelest person of them all...a DISCO gnome! I could explain the game, but I will let it do it for me:

Yes...this is the entire game.
Now a weak willed person would scoff at a game like this and tell you,"This is man goes down, but up instead." Then they decide to try the game out, it starts off simple enough, you start at floor 0 and slowly climb your way up the tower...

Disco man slowly climbs...to his doom!
...as you climb up higher and higher trying to increase your score by jumping multiple floors and gaining combos, the stopwatch slowly ticks away increasing the speed every minute you climb higher and higher...until you mess up and fall to your doom.
Then you scoff and immediately blame the game for hax, you do what most other people do and play again, and die. Restart it...and die. Again...and die...in a never ending vicious cycle of pain and misery turns a couple of minutes until a few hours...

Higher and higher you go, where it ends...no one knows!
You then decide to take a break and go to bed...until he comes. A person of legend and lure that will haunt you in your nightmares and be with you. He is your inner competitor; teasing you, mocking you, calling you names for having such a low score. He will come and take over you as you must go higher and higher to get the score as impressive as you can.
You will eventually weed out your friends into those who tower and those who do not, you compare scores to figure which one is the closest to God as your mind thinks of the tower, and you have the urge to jump from platform to platform. Thinking of moves ahead, always trying to get better and feeding into the obsession of reaching the top.
Your friend beat your score by how much? LIAR! You demand proof of this and he shows you on his computer with the built in save feature for instant replays of the various attempts he has done. You can not believe it, and then you lock yourself away from all contact as you climb the tower wanting to know its secrets as to existence and determined to then get to the top untill...you become the gnome!

Where does it end...will you ever break free?
A simple game? Yes. A free download? Of course. Addictive? Extremely. I warned you about this title, try it if you dare...and see you next time on Download This!

I remember hearing that this game contains a virus/malware. Is this true?
