I am ashamed of all of you. Out of nowhere there is this new found love of BlazBlue, a fighting game that was just released for the latest generation of consoles. Now I will admit it looks really pretty and is similar to Guilty Gear, however you disappoint me. Everyone is in love with a game saying it is the shit and the best 2D fighter for the modern era, without actually exploring the other games in the genre.

I mean I pine to go to find the best online freeware games for you and you all praise this title over another fighting game that was recently released? Before vaulting it to the number one spot I have a real treat for your eyes to behold, here is Vanguard Princess.

This game was released about a week ago and is string a little buzz online. Granted unless you are into this sort of thing this is going to go under the radar. The game involves well endowed women fighting one another...since I can't read Japanese I can not tell you more of the story, so let's fight!

Choose your character!

Now I know what you are thinking, this game looks like it is for the hardcore being in another language. Don't worry all you need to do is map your pad or keyboard to the layout in the game and use them as reference for combos and have fun. The animation and graphics are just amazing to see...no there is no zoom in feature so get your head out of the gutter.

Talk to the Hand!

Two things about this game to warn you about. It is coded in Japanese, i.e. not in English. So you need to make sure you have the language installed on your computer (XP users require the CD to do this), and if you are like me and could not get applocal to work, have to change the Unicode settings on the computer to Japanese in order to get this to run. If you are not sure what I just talked about, Google up the information and there are plenty of resources for you to configure your computer.

Second there is no net play option, there is local multiplayer, but there is no way to connect two machines together in a multiplayer option. However the good news is that the system files are unpacked, so if you know Japanese you could technically add it in yourself. However I am going to wait a while because this game is going to get some serious buzz and someone might create something sooner rather then later.
